http://www.nathanielturner.com/questionfrominside.htm relevant re:ucla's meltdown & how non-Black AsAm's claim to support Black lives but we hold onto a victimization
+ a victimization complex that we're "excluded" from "people of color", and that Black folks can't or won't represent our political needs
how non-Black AsAm's will scream into the air "we're people of color too" not realizing what we're actually saying or trying to lay claim to
we claim to be "api's4blacklives" but when it comes down to it we'll take non-Black asian lives over Black lives again and again
"Many of us, Asian American or not, have drunk from the fountain of knowledge we call Black politics + only to spit the water back into the well when we are no longer thirsty."
it's chilling, the ominous "they" that non-Black AsAm's refer to as the ones "excluding us" from "people of color"
that we don't dare say who we are obviously referring to betrays our true intentions and distorted view of the world
