i was js reading someones house md post right. i look over at my tv and??? house is on my tv??? not like an episode but saying that it was gonna be on that channel??? this is the weirdest coincidence of my life

okay so this is gonna be extremely long winded and probably nonsensical because its like midnight right now. but. the brainworms bro the fucking brainworms

warning for spoilers below the cut specifically for the 2nd fnaf movie don't ask why i made this correlation

the aforementioned brainworms are specifically about harry osborn (specifically, raimi movies, as thats the one im most familiar with) and michael afton (MOVIE michael. movie lore ≠ game lore to me).

so something that popped into my head is how in the movie michael seems like.. desperate to continue his fathers legacy and uphold what he stood for in a way. he wants to embody what his father embodied, despite him being dead. michael somewhat looks up to his father (somewhat being pretty loose, its likely it could've been more) and wants to follow his path and 'make him proud' in a way.

so, michael goes against family while trying to follow in his father's footsteps. he actively tries to put vanessa (his SISTER) into harms way. its an attempt to do what he believes his father would've wanted.

and now the more nonsensical comparison comes in. harry also wanted to make his father proud, to an unhealthy degree. he too turned on the people he was close with in an attempt to accomplish what he believed his father wanted him to do. he puts his closest friend (peter) in harms way because he believes that peter caused his fathers death. and because of that, harry attempts to do what he BELIEVES is what would make his father proud (revenge), despite his father being dead and him only seeing him in mirror hallucinations.

I don't really like Vigcup either- Especially if it's with the rtte version of Hiccup since he's 18-20 (according to the wiki) and even if that doesn't seem like much, Viggo is like in his 30's.

I dunno, whenever I accidentally see it on pinterest, I just think of pedophilia and get really grossed out.

If Hiccup was 20 in the show and Viggo was still in his 30's, I would still be kind of weirded out since it's like a 10 or more year age gap.

However if he was 18 or 19? I'm completely disgusted. Yeah, 18-19 is basically an adult age, but again- If Viggo is in his fucking 30's then I just think it's pedophilia because of the age gap.

Not to mention how toxic it would be for God's sake.
