Hey, I'm Case! My blog was getting a little crowded, so here's a masterlist for the stuff I write.

And here's an {Updates Page} for when I finally make myself a schedule I think I can stick to in terms of posting & to "announce" upcoming work.

Some of this will be a liiiiiittle empty until I edit my work and decide to post it.

When two Hogwarts students are found dead on the Quidditch field, killed the same way as the other victims Foster has been investigating, the case starts to become dire. With students terrified for their lives, Avalon employs the help of the only person who truly can help her—the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Sherlock Holmes. usuk: my second ship in hetalia that still holds a soft spot in my heart. I’m not a hardcore shipper of it like I once was, but I still really enjoy content of it. I think the two have a really interesting dynamic, romantic or not, and it’s fun to explore said dynamic. Obviously I don’t view them as related or having a father child dynamic, though seeing those takes can be interesting. What else can I say? The canon material for this ship is great and just feeds into it. And the fandom content for usuk is really good (devalier and butter fish instantly come to mind as old fandom greats) and abudent. I still have usuk amvs favorited that still see just *chefs kiss* their personalities balance each other out and the trageic relationship you can explore is really interesting

rusame: I get it. I get why people like this ship. Cold War sexual tension stuff. I’m just too much of an ameripan and rochu hoe 😭 I really really like their dynamic though and anything exploring their friendship I find interesting. I do have their tag blocked though because of the frequency it shows up on my dash 😅

amechu: another interesting dynamic I like exploring more as a friendship. Tbh I don’t think I’ve seen much of any fan content exploring it in a romantic sense, at least in the western fandom. I’ve watched some great amechu amvs on billibilli though. The dynamic has great potential with cold war and modern takes on the ship. Not too sure how I like their personalities matching up in a romantic sense, though. I also feel that China would view america more as a child

nichu: I’ll straight up say I don’t like this as a romantic ship at all unless it’s completely separate human AU. I don’t view Japan and China as a parent child relationship; more as a mentor mentee. That being said, the history is way too messy for me. Some people like that tragic aspect, which is understanable. Their dynamic is really interesting though and I love seeing it explored; just not in a romantic sense unless it’s an AU setting

England/China because I also think Iggychu is a stupid name. I hate the word Iggy so much alsjjsjahaa: yeah I don’t like it at all 😅 (it’s tolerable if in a human AU) I don’t like the power imbalance. Most work I’ve seen for the ship is based around the opium wars which is 😬 I don’t like how their personalities match up either in a romantic sense . Interesting dynamic, and maybe good to explore a more toxic relationship. With Hong Kong it gets super messy too

spuk: I really like this dynamic! This ship will never be one of my main ones for England or Spain, but i still like it! History is there, exploring the two’s personalities during colonial times is really really interesting (and how the two could get corrupt with power and what not. whether that causes them to abandon humanity), and there’s some great fan content! (I read a really fucking good doujinshi centered con contracting their relationship with Romano vs America as colony nations and it was just really fascinating to explore) The whole pirate dynamic is also funny.

taiviet: I used to hate this ship. I used to think it was a cheap way of halfheartedly pairing off the few girl characters in hetalia with no regard for history. That being said, I now find this ship cute. We are starved for wlw content in hetalia. The two interact in canon too and the potential for cute modern dynamics is abundant. I love lesbian!Taiwan too so her and Vietnam are a top choice for a couple

BTT: I’m a rochu hoe, but BTT is my favorite dynamic in all of hetalia. It is me wanting to explore this dynamic that birthed my like 300k or whatever fanfic series. I prefer to explore it as a friendship dynamic, but romantic takes are also interesting. It was friendship explorations though that got me so interested in it and how their three personalities balance each other out. Explorations on if the three would remain friends even if their counties were at war I found so interesting, and any story about diverse friendship dynamics I love to read! Speculating about how France and Spain would handle Prussia’s death is still something I daydream about the most in terms of hetalia daydreams. If I ever were to write another hetalia fanfic (98% chance no) it would be around that topic
