It’s hard to debate folks who are never wrong. Almost every interaction I’ve had this past week with a Bernie supporter ends up a contest on who’s more revolutionary, or insulting comments insinuating people who work in entertainment don’t get to have political opinions.

Bitch I was protesting the Iraq War and the patriot act on the street before you were born! Understand I’ve read the blog posts and books. In fact I’d venture to guess I’ve read more books about this current political climate than most. That’s not to assume I’m smarter or better I only mention because in a debate if it’s to be productive we must start off assumed equals. I’m not dumb and neither are you. You have your beliefs I have mine. If we disagree we don’t have to destroy each other. We can debate if you want to actually debate.
A debate is not an intelligence contest or a contest whose more revolutionary. It’s a debate. We are all privy to the same info. We are all here for the same election. I don’t need to be enlightened by a Bernie supporter because I disagree. I have a bachelors degree in Political Science/Non-Fictional Writing from University of Illinois and I’m a professional Standup Comedian. Insulting me, especially politically is really not the bear you want to poke. You’ll probably lose that contest and you’ll get blocked in the process.
You want to convince me don’t give me paragraphs of platitudes about the 1% or conspiracies of the establishment stealing the election. Wealth inequality is the biggest problem we face but alienating rich people sympathetic to progressive agenda is ridiculous. Not all rich people are bad just like not all Bernie Supporters are good. Bernie helped to write this year’s primary rules after 2016 is he part of your conspiracy?
If you want my real opinion of Bernie? Frankly I don’t trust enough Americans really want to share the way Bernie’s proposals would call for. I did when I voted for him in 2016 but especially watching Republicans under Trump-all scavengers, greedy filthy scavengers. There is far too much personal self interest in America to risk nominating Bernie and his so-called revolution-that doesn’t even show up at the polls.
Voters are flocking to Biden because he is a known commodity. He’s Obama’s VP. Is he perfect? By no means. Can we as a party get him closer? I think yes. Don’t trust Biden? Lets see his choice of VP. I’m hoping with Biden we can also keep the House and take back the Senate.
I’m a Democrat more specifically I’m an Obama-Biden Democrat. I’ve been a Democrat my whole voting life. I’m not going independent now. Not against Trump. The larger the tent the better and the Biden tent is the Democratic Party. You may call it the establishment, it’s been my political tent pole since before I started voting. Has it disappointed me at times? Of course. Will it again? Probably. You have to take the wins with the loses and decide where you stand. That’s not just politics that’s life. Purity tests only help people giving the test feel more self righteous. I’m too old and been disappointed too many times by American greed to be self righteous to people about money.
I don’t pretend to know the future but I do know Trump fears Biden because if nothing else Trump understands branding. Biden didn’t advertise on Super Tuesday he couldn’t his campaign was spent but Biden still swept from what seemed to be name recognition alone. Being Obama’s VP is enough for a lot of people.

Don’t attack folks for wanting that. If you’re young you don’t have the life experience to know what lead that person to vote the way they did, especially older voters. You have no right to question or attack that vote. They earned their right to vote. And in the case of older voters statistically speaking be happy they won’t vote for Trump.
How about this? How about instead of attacking people that don’t agree with you online talk to your fellow Bernie Supporting millennials who aren’t participating in the voting process.
Only 11% of eligible 18-25 yr old voters showed up on Super Tuesday.
Until Bernie Supporters fix that none of you really should try to explain anything to anyone. Because all politics and elections boil down to getting people out to the POLLS TO VOTE if you can’t do that no matter how virtuous or revolutionary your cause, you lose.
You want to troll this post have at it. That insult or condescending comment won’t help Bernie get elected and it makes it that much more difficult to come together and beat Trump in November no matter who wins this nomination.
Plus I’ve already voted in the primary so you can’t change that and I know who I’m voting for in the General Election NOT TRUMP #AnybodyBlueWillDo #VoteBlueNoMatterWho #TrumpistheEnemy
