The word tariff just means import tax. The tariff/tax is paid by importers who pass the price increase on to consumers. d'oh!

Why do people find the need to invalidate aro/ace characters' identities just because they want to ship or simp for that character
As someone on the aroace spectrum, I've only ever seen allos mention the spectrum and microlabels to use as loopholes to ship. They also dont use queerplatonic relationships right. I am not against these bc i identify with aro and ace microlabels and i like to see microlabels and queerplatonic relationships getting recognized properly but not as loopholes

because goddamnit even if the show might’ve done an awful job representing his gender/form fluidity— it doesn’t mean the comics OR the original source material, norse mythology, dating back more than centuries ago, don’t exist.
Don’t get me wrong, the Lokius fanart I’ve seen is stunning. but I have barely seen any depicting Loki as a woman or even feminine, and it’s a itch I must scratch.
(Me when Marvel takes a character who is both fluid in original source material and specifically genderfluid in some of their comics and then just don’t do anything with that in the show dedicated around that character: 🧍)
Norse mythology Loki, whilst most commonly appeared as male, was a shapeshifter God who in multiple instances took a female form - and in perhaps one of the most well known Loki stories, took the form of a mare and gave birth to one of his children, Sleipnir. There are also other stories in which he gave birth, not as mare, too. But it is important to note to not too heavily view norse mythology Loki under a modernistic lens, and identifying him as being trans/gender-fluid in norse mythology is a very complex thing to go into due to multiple reasons. But for Mavel’s interpretation of Loki, there are multiple comics, dating from early 2000s till now, in which he is openly genderfluid and form-fluid and you could definitely say for those he is genderfluid and falls under the trans and queer umbrella.

Imagine this;
There's a popular piece of media in which characters have superpowers and are good or evil, classic good guy/bad guy tropes. In this popular piece of media, there is a man with the power to turn invisible. As well as this, the main character is a do-good girl who only wants to help this man (and others) become a better person.
The girl gets hired by a large company that the guy works for, and their very first interaction is the guy using his invisibility powers to watch the girl get dressed into her work clothes. He then gets caught, becomes visible, and doesn't apologise for seeing her in any sort of state of undress, instead asking her if she had sex with another co-worker before even introducing himself.
Throughout this piece of media, the guy makes repeated sexual jokes and comments to and about, NOT ONLY the girl, but their co-workers as well. The entire time, he also tries to make it out that he's not a bad person and is just struggling to become good without ACTUALLY putting any effort in.
Imagine he suddenly starts to follow her around one day, until they both end up in the female's toilets whilst the girl is trying to fix her wounds up after a run-in with another hero. He tells her, unprovoked, about a sex dream that he had about her.
There is also a moment in this piece of media where he kisses her and, when pushed off, accepts it. HOWEVER, rather than apologising and leaving, he becomes invisible and kisses her again without any sort of consent. That would all be a massive problem, right? That guy would be sexually harassing the girl, right?
Okay, but now imagine it's actually the video game Dispatch. The guy is actually Invisigal, and the girl is actually Robert. Invisigal still (as far as I can remember) does all of these things and more, and despite how Robert reacts, she continues to. It's still fucked up that she acts this way, right? She still spends the entire game sexually harassing Robert and stepping WAY out of line, and not just in the sense that she refuses to listen to crucial orders from her dispatcher.
Dispatch fans hate to think of Invisigal as a bad person who's done any wrong because she's a quirky, 'I can't help it!! I don't mean to be evil :(((' girl, and they all have the unconscious mindset that sexual harassment doesn't count if it's to a male. It's incredibly disgusting, and it just shows that they are more than happy to pretend that people, in game and out of game, haven't done any wrong as long as they act like they regret it.
Visi IS a sexual harasser, and people really need to realise this. Thank you for coming to my angry rant :1
Blue Lock Community Is Getting Toxic In Chap 312 (aka Slursagi jokes and Isagi's Mischaracterization)
Edit: Someone pointed out that there is a racism involved irl soccer.
As an Isagi stan, I feel so embarrassed, frustrated, annoyed and disgusted when I see a group of people making "Slursagi" jokes on Nigeria Eleven team (Yes, they mentioned on the use of N words). Isagi is my fav character but seeing how people treating Isagi made me feel ashamed. Isagi will NEVER ever be racist towards someone keep that in mind. The writer even respected Nigeria Eleven by giving the cool illustration ngl.
People had been using Slursagi jokes since Season 1. I honestly don't find it funny after people making a meme on Isagi giving a racist remarks to Nigerian people. I also didn't laugh at Slursagi meme being made for NEL arc as well.
They don't even know Isagi's personality that well. All they know is him slurring at his rivals and friends. Isagi was mischaracterized. In the fandom page, they even mentioned that Isagi finds good in others NOT slurring at others. Isagi is a character that will help his friends and rivals to reach their potential. Isagi had to point out the harsh truth in order for his teammates to be the best version of themselves. I think those who thinks Isagi loves to slur are both non-manga readers and non-Isagi fans. The REAL Isagi stan will never say such things like that.
Btw, it is Isagi's first time playing against Nigeria team. There is no point of making meme of him slurring at them coz he is type of guy who respects his opponents. If you look at the manga (on very top of this post closely), Isagi acknowledges Onazi like a respectful rival and I see DON'T any negative remarks from him. Even in the manga itself there is no mention of "SLURSAGI" words from chap 1 to chap 312.
So pls stop making unnecessary jokes which can lead to serious issue like this one. If you're the who started this and supported Slursagi on Nigeria Eleven, that's so racist of you. It's not funny like I said. Learn to respect people. Even irl soccer, racism happens. Only in Blue Lock fandom, I see so many misleading posts on Isagi. They said they claimed to be "Isagi fan" and they can do whatever they want after seeing so many slursagi posts WITHOUT reading the manga/ biography. I'm sorry but as a Isagi stan, I have to stand up for Isagi's mischaracterization and racism for Nigeria Eleven. It's so annoying to see same craps on racism and slursagi meme post. Hopefully, we will stop this misinformation from the internet and create a safe community for Blue Lock fandom.
yalls ever get the sense that people spend a lot of time misrepresenting byler. like yeah some of its cool and funny and I do enjoy it but Will Byers is genuinely one of the saddest characters in the show and Mike Wheeler really does need help beyond misquotes about therapy. like I miss what I thought of the characters before fanfiction and memes, it was all “I’m going to cry if they don’t get together because Will would probably just suffer in silence as Mike marries some girl who may not even be Jane” and I remember seeing a post that Will takes antidepressants and wishing that he could be happy. like idk the memes n stuff are funny but I think they’re kind of ruining the image of what byler was meant to be
