I'm sorryy!! & thank you!! That's Miss Bean the spadefoot toad. I haven't posted her much because she's in my (still) unpublished toad book. I know I gotta self publish it at this point soon. Maybe I'll make her my sona.

my moms cat will not jump onto my bed unless I give her permission (move blankets out of the way and pat the bed). but she also very rarely meows.

how does a cat who does not meow ask for permission to jump onto my bed? I'm glad you asked, dear reader!

she merbles to make her presence known, then just looks up at me with the saddest, wettest, most pleading eyes you have ever seen.

but sometimes I do not hear her little sounds, and will just look up from a book to see this:

and I just can't say no to those eyes.
