Missing your Milso.
I may not be the most intelligent person or the person with many psychology degrees (which I do plan on getting), but I do understand what missing somebody is like. Those people who say they haven't talked to their boyfriend/girlfriend in an hour do not know what missing somebody is or realize how hard it truly is to not speak to somebody for days upon days. Being with a person in the military is hard on you. It eats you alive. You don't only miss them physically but also mentally.
Let me tell you this though, you start to realize how much all those little things truly mean to you. When you can't speak or see somebody for a long amount of time you realize how much they truly mean to you, or how much they truly don't. You realize all the small things they did that you never gave a second thought about till now. You start to appreciate the smallest littlest things. Like when they babied you when you didn't feel good, bought you food you wanted, took you to a movie you really wanted to see, in my case take you to the zoo because you REALLY wanted to go. Lol. The little cute things they did you never realized till now. Oh, and those things that they did that got on your nerves.... Yeah you start missing those too. You start to want any little thing from them. To hear them snore, to hear their laugh, to have them bug the shit out of you. Just anything as long as they are by your side. But we know that's not exactly the easiest thing to accomplish with them being in the military. I'm here to tell you to soak up those little moments, those little kisses, the hugs, the cuddling, the playing around, the joking. Remember all those good happy times, and reminisce when they are away. You may cry, but you'll also be smiling while doing it. Just remember they love you, and you love them. That's the most important thing in the world, that you love one another unconditionally to the end of times.
You can always ask me for advice guys, I'll help as much as I can. I'll be the person to pick you up when your sad. I don't care if I've never met you in my life, if you have a milso and you need somebody to make you feel better I'll be here.
