What language would you like to speak, besides the one(s) you already do? Er... I dunno. All of them? xp I'd quite fancy having a babelfish in my ear or just a TARDIS, y'know. I might want to learn Swedish at some point though.
What’s your favourite animal? Again, all of them xp. Uh, gosh... seriously can't I just put all of them? Okay fine, dragons then.
Would you ever dress up in a Halloween costume and walk around like that in a country where they don’t celebrate Halloween? Dude, totally. If I ever live in Britain I'm celebrating Halloween whether they like it or not and the Brits can suck it. Cause Halloween is awesome. One of the few things that's more awesome about living in America, and I mean FEW.
What’s your favourite fairy tale? Mmmm... difficult to say. There's a really fantastic version of Beauty and the Beast that I love, but I also quite liked The Princess and the Frog.
What’s the accessory you wear the most? Uhhhh... : | My sparkling personality.
If you could kill off a fictional character, which one would you and why? (besides Umbridge =p) Welp, Joffrey's pretty high on the list. Can I also kill of Clara and she DOESN'T come back, and we replace her with an 1) actually original companion and 2) isn't besotted with the Doctor. Could we do that? Please?
Are you a theatre person? If yes, which is the best play you ever saw? Oh yes *whistles* Hmmm... I've seen two really fantastic versions of Much Ado About Nothing, each with a unique historical setting. Lovely play, that one's hard to beat. I saw Les Miserables live with the best Valjean I have ever heard. My school produced a legendary version of Zombie Prom that I sadly could not participate in but am very proud of nonetheless. And we did some fantastic one-act plays, my favorite of which might very well have been Counting to Infinity.
Who is your idol and why? Daaaaaaaaaaaave. Daaaaaaaaaaaave. Dave I love you. Well, actually I have a lot of idols, but David Tennant is sort of my icon and model for the kind of person I want to be if I'm ever famous. I mean, I'll still be me of course, I don't want to ever not be me, but Dave... Excellent sense of humor, modest, respects and loves all his fans no matter what age, generous with his time, a charming incorrigible flirt and painted manwhore. XD I'm sorry, that's mostly a fandom thing, but even so, that charming quality about Dave I really admire and I'd love to have his confidence and emulate his flirtiness and teasing, because he is a big old flirt, don't deny it. And he wears his heart on his sleeve, he throws himself into everything he does, and especially for Doctor Who; I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone more dedicated. He genuinely loved it and still loves it, it's obvious. And I think in some years he'll be the Sylvester McCoy or Peter Davison going to cons and talking with fans because he still loves it. I just really appreciate everything David is and strives to be. And I wish I was that brilliant and attractive myself.
Are you a reader? If yes, who’s your favourite author? askdfhskdjfhksjdfh Firstly, of course I am. Secondly, afdkjhdsfkjdshkj GAH. Humpf, well, I'm a big fan of Charlotte Bronte and Mary Shelley, but you haven't got a lot of material to look at from them. Stylistically, Faulkner is one of my all time favorites. Other people worship Fitzgerald or Hemingway for the great white American authors, but for me it's Faulkner because sakfhksdjhfksjdh BEST. For contemporary writers there's J.K. Rowling, obviously, Pratchett and Gaiman, and I don't read enough contemporary work to have anymore favorites xp.
Do you have a song that you’re fond of because you feel you can sing it better than others? If yes, which one? Hmmm... :/ this usually applies to musicals more than pop songs or something. I dunno, because I'm in a Les Miz-y mood, I really really adore Master of the House just cause it makes me SO. HAPPY. every time I hear it and it's really not hard to sing. The best thing ever is having it performed live and everyone in the audience starts clapping along. I love the feeling of unity you get when everyone joins in singing along or clapping. All I want in my life is to start singing a song in a room of strangers and by the end of the song, everyone's singing along. It's actually happened twice in my life, sitting in the choir room, messing with the piano, we started up "Hey There Delilah" and on a separate occasion "Dark Blue" and pretty soon we had a crowd around the piano singing along in three-part harmony xp It's pretty much the best thing ever I think to just pick up a song and everyone starts singing along. It's often not your favorite song, but one so popular and familiar you can't resist singing along to it. I really think that's one of the best joys in life.
Who is your favourite artist? No restrictions on the kind of art. Arrrrrgh... umpf... I dunno, Alfred Lord Tennyson, the poet. Or Shakespeare. Or, ooh, John Donne, fuck yeah xp If you don't know who John Donne is, GET ON THAT, you are missing out on some of the wittiest damn poetry you've ever heard.
My Questions:
How many toes does a fish have and how many wings on a cow?
If you were a character from the imagination of Lewis Carroll, what would you be? (Note: make one up, not asking for an identification)
Coldplay or Snow Patrol? Or other British band of your choosing
Pick a color for the month you were born in and explain why it fits
Do you have that one song that whenever it starts you have to listen to it all the way through because it's just that awesome? (I'm incapable of not finishing "Kings of Medicine", Placebooooooo, why must you be so amazing?)
Which cast would you most prefer to see race-swapped or gender-swapped? (I understand that 'swapped' is slightly disingenuous as it implies a binary and there are certainly more than two races and a variety of genders, excuse the common parlance)
What are your thoughts on fate and destiny?
Why 42?
Who's your favorite poet? I like poetry, if you don't like poetry, tough, look some up.
Sum up this stage of your life in 5 words or less.
If we could measure Thorin's majesty, how would you measure it? Mass, volume, velocity? Be sure to show your work : |
