Dean/Benny, mob, and law enforcement?

Benny had three rules for life. One, don’t get caught. Two, if you do get caught, don’t tell them anything. Three, Romeo and Juliet is not the kind of story you want to base your romantic expectations on.

He was pretty good at following the first two, especially the second. The third he thought he was doing well on, until he noticed that the cop who was tailing him was really, really cute.

He was trying to be inconspicuous about it. He was in plain clothes, not in uniform; probably his assignment was to see if Benny was going anywhere suspicious. He was obviously new; Benny could see all his tells, from the way he kept nervously feeling for his gun to the way he narrowed his eyes whenever Benny moved. It was cute, really. Like he thought he could actually stop Benny from doing whatever he thought Benny was doing.

The reality was that Benny wasn’t doing anything; as soon as he had noticed he was being tailed, though he had only been going to the grocery store in the first place, he started taking a circuitous route to nowhere in particular.

Now, he turned a corner, turned around, and waited. Sure enough, the cop wasn’t expecting him, and he was able to grab him before he could so much as look surprised. In a moment Benny had him pinned to the wall, holding him there by his hands above his head.

The trouble was that he was still cute. And his face was flushed in a way that really didn’t help matters.

"Hey, kid," Benny said. "This your first time tailing someone?"

The kid swallowed. Benny watched his Adam's apple bob up and down. "Uh..."

"I was just goin' shopping," Benny said. "Groceries. I'm almost out of milk. Not so nefarious, huh?"

"No," the kid said. "Not unless 'milk' is a code word."

Benny laughed out loud. "You do talk."

"Oh, I do more than that," the kid said, getting his bravado back now that it was obvious Benny wasn't going to hurt him.

This, though, was probably the wrong thing to say, at least if he didn't want Benny to kiss him, because that was exactly where Benny's mind went. His eyes flickered to the kid's lips (and they were very nice lips), and when he looked back at his eyes, he saw that the kid was doing the same.

"What's your name?" Benny said.

"Winchester," the kid said. "Dean Winchester."

"Well, Winchester," Benny drawled, "you care to demonstrate any of these other things you do?"

Their faces were only an inch apart. Dean only had to lean forward the tiniest bit to kiss Benny. And after that, Benny practically lunged forward, knocking his head back against the wall in his haste. Luckily, Dean didn't seem to mind.

Eventually, Benny pulled away. "Listen, Dean, I ain't doing this Romeo-and-Juliet thing. It always ends badly."

"Yeah, I know," Dean said.

"But I ain't saying I don't want to do that again," Benny continued with a grin. "So you ever feel like it--"

"Yeah," Dean said, a little too quickly. 

"Good." Benny released his hands at last. "I'll see you later, Dean."

And he turned and started away without a glance back, as if he didn't really care; but really that kiss had set off alarm bells in his head, and he knew he was in far too deep for his own good already.

Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 5?

House and Wilson... actually no... but it was pretty early on. They've got such amazing chemistry, in a kind of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost kind of way - like they're constantly playing chicken with each other about how far they're willing to push things. If I believed in soulmates, I would say that's what they are, but I don't, so I won't.

Have you ever read fanfiction about 2?

Vince and Howard. Awwwww. Yes, yes I have. Boosh fandom is gloriously insane and I genuinely believe we have some of the very best fic :D. I actually love reading Gen Boosh fics, as our writers know the characters so well that it's genuinely like reading more episodes for the show :). 

Has a picture of 4 ever been your screensaver/profile pic/etc.?

No. Sadly there are very few decent quality Dan/Jones screengrabs out there. I wish there were more.

Why is 1 so important?

Omg. You can't be on Tumblr and genuinely still need an answer to this question. BECAUSE THEY ARE PERFECT. Because they have spent seven years building a complex and layered and beautiful relationship. 

I do agree with Katie though - I prefer fanfic Cas and Dean - far less angst and far more firemen...

Is 4  a serious or funny ship?

Dan and Jones have spiralled so far out from the Nathan Barley canon that I don't even know any more :D. I mean, they share a very small number of scenes... but they do live together in beautifully chaotic domesticity, and Jones is the only one who knows how to get Dan to relax. Add to that the plethora of wonderful writing that this fandom produces and yeah, I'd say it's pretty darn serious :P.

Out of all the ships which one has the most chemistry?

Oh god. Okay, little secret: I DON'T HAVE CASUAL SHIPS. I can't. It was tricky enough coming up with five for this list! So, for me, they ALL have a tonne of chemistry.

That said, Vince and Howard click so perfectly (and that's as much to do with Noel and Ju as it is to do with writing) - if I had a gun to my head, that's who I'd pick.

Out of all the ships which one has the strongest bond?

Gotta be Cas and Dean - you don't go through what they've been through together without building something pretty unbreakable. Even Jensen will admit that :P.

How many times have you watched/read 2's fandom?

Welp. I own every bit of Boosh paraphernalia it's possible to own. I've seen them live three times and can quote the episodes from memory... So, you know, a normal amount for this fandom. 

Which ship lasted the longest?

Well only one of these is technically canon (although one of the others may as well be), sooo. The one which I've been shipping longest is Vince and Howard, hands down. 

How many times have 5 broken up?

Well they had a MASSIVE friend-breakup, but they're not together-together in canon, so none.

If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would come out alive, 1 or 3?

Hah! Well I think I'll have to say Cas and Dean (as long as Cas was fully angeled up) - they've had their fair share of experience.... BUT, Cecil and Carlos may surprise the bookies with underhand tactics, like befriending the zombies, or revealing them to actually just be plastic bags, so you never know!

Did 4 have to hide their relationship for any reason?

I can't imagine that Dan and Jones would ever care enough about what other people thought to bother to hide their relationship no. That, and Jones would be far too enthusiastic about it to keep it secret (Dan would be too, just less vocally).

Is 5 still together?

House and Wilson? Still together...? *SOBS FOREVER* THEY ARE IN MY HEART.

Is 1 canon?

BASICALLY.

If all five ships were put together in The Hunger Games, who would win?

That's a horrible question. Cas and Dean. But they would have MAJOR ANGST about killing off all the other innocent contestants.

Not... really? Wilson's ex wife a bit maybe. But nah, they're pretty solid.
