what do you think about phainon eating lunch with your whole family?
im from colombia, specifically from the coast so we have a really strong food identity (deep fried fish, coconut rice and so on) and i think, no IM SURE, phainon would love it

Phainon sitting down to eat with your whole family would feel unreal to him in the best way. Everyone talking at once, laughing loud, food being passed around, the smell of fried fish and coconut rice filling the house. It would be warm and overwhelming and comforting all at the same time.
At first.. he is very polite. Almost shy, actually. Sitting properly, thanking everyone, asking if it is okay before taking more food. But the moment he actually tastes the food, not try, but really *taste* the food, you can see it on his face. His eyes light up. He starts asking questions between bites like:
"Wait—what's this dish called? How'd you make it?" "Is it always this good?" "Can I have more—if that's okay?"
Phainon genuinely loves being invited into someone's personal world, and food is such a huge part of that. He listens so intently while everyone explains how things are cooked, who taught them, which family member makes it best.
Yeah, no doubt about it that he absolutely goes back for seconds.
Your family would absolutely adopt him on the spot. Someone's piling extra food onto his plate, someone else is teasing him for eating so much, and he just laughs along, warm and a little overwhelmed, but clearly happy. Because this kind of love is so different from what he's used to.
By the end of lunch he is completely full, cheeks warm from smiling too much, leaning back in his chair and listening to everyone talk. Maybe the ocean is in the background, maybe someone is still offering him more food. He is already filing this away as a core memory.
Later on, he tells you that the food was incredible, but what he really liked was being there with all of you. Being invited into something so personal. To him, that means everything.
