And it should've been pretty obvious that the story would've been about Mint eye Saeran. Cheritz has always interlinked stories around the same plot they've never deviated from, they've never made a new story taking place after it.
I mean considering you could actually earn Ray hearts in V’s route and all it lead to was a bad ending originally...I feel like it’s pretty obvious that that’s where it was going to branch from. I agree though 100%, Even if this route is like an AU to the main route, it basically takes place within the same time space, even if the timeline is kinda wobbly.
@ren-ben I disagree. I can't imagine having my parents focus more on their work and their disputes instead of balancing it with my upbringing. A parents' love is everything to a child and he didn't get that. Then you got Luke with his situation. Snoke was the only one who gave kylo his full attention. Can't say you tried to get right by your child if you weren't there to parent him in the first place.

I can, I know from experience. My dad was military until I was in my late teens, so he wasn’t around for about half my formative years. It wasn’t his choice, but he couldn’t say no--he was told to deploy, so he did.
As important military/political figures, I imagine Han and Leia (mostly Leia let’s be real) would likely be in a similar position. They were key in the rebellion, so they would be looked to to form stability in the galaxy.
So yeah, it’s crummy to have a parent not around, but it doesn’t make the parents failures. All the evidence I’ve seen shows that Han and Leia really did their very best.
Also, Leia turned down the governorship of Birren partly because she knew Ben wouldn’t be interested in inheriting that position in the decades to come.

I'm trying to be careful of how I write this, I don't want to appear like I'm minimizing abuse. MM is an otome game, first of all, falling in love with characters in 11 days is already unrealistic enough. If Cheritz wants to create a world where a character can find happiness in 11 days, then by all means, and nothing about MM has been realistic in the first place. Like seriously, staying in an apartment just because you were told to is kind of??
lol At least with Mint Eye you’re literally stumbled into a cult/hostage situation so you’re being unable to leave actually makes sense rather than like...just because. That was always a nagging plot hole to me until like, the bomb is addressed or something.
I get what you’re saying, and I agree to an extent, especially the 11 day limit. You have to make a lasting impression on someone in 11 days that leads them on at least the path to happiness if you don’t help them find that within that 11 days, which in reality is super unrealistic. There are multiple parts of Saeran’s development in the Ray Route that are unrealistic too, it’s just how it is. I can be critical of certain decisions they make (looking at you in particular Day 10) but there is an amount of bending when it comes to expectations in a game like this with such a strict time frame.
