Sai babysitting for the triplets kids?
“Mizuru!” Sai yelled as Mizuru hit her with a toy bat. She had Taehyun in her arms, trying to quiet the baby. Sai had never had more respect for Saya than in that moment. Two children under four were easy to care of in Sai’s mind, but it was way harder in practice. Taehyun was crying loudly in Sai’s arms, and she had no clue what he wanted. She had fed him and changed him, yet he continued to cry. Mizuru had gotten bored with the lack of attention on her, and had started to get Sai’s attention in any way. “Mizuru sweetie can you go sit over there and wait for me to calm your brother?”
“No! I want to play!” Mizuru pouted.
“Mizuru please…” Sai sighed. “Please just go sit over there?”
“No!” Mizuru screamed, hitting Sai’s leg again and again. Taehyun continued to cry loudly and Sai had never been more stressed than this moment. Sai hadn’t spent any alone time with her niece and nephew since Taehyun was born, and she realized why now. She hated this so much, but she didn’t know how to get herself out of the situation.
“Mizuru how about we facetime your grandmothers?” Sai decided asking her parents for help would be the best course of action. Yujin and Saya needed the time off.
“Yes!” Mizuru smiled at the suggestion. Sai got her phone out of her pocket, shifting Taehyun to her other arm. She then quickly pulled up the facetime for her mother, letting Mizuru hold the phone.
“Mizuru-chan!” Sana giggled when she saw her granddaughter on the facetime.
“I’m with Auntie Sai.” Mizuru giggled.
“Hi mom.” Sai sighed. “I need your help.”
“Clearly.” Sana laughed when she saw the crying baby.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with him. I’ve fed him, changed him. What else is there?” Sai asked.
“He probably is teething, did Saya leave you instructions for his teething medicine?”
“Actually, yes she did. Can you entertain Mizuru?”
“Sure.” Sana laughed, watching as Sai took Taehyun to the kitchen.
After Sai is able to get Taehyun to nap and Mizuru gets entertained by a cartoon, Sai sighs in relief as she sinks into the couch. She was so exhausted, and she wasn’t sure how Saya was able to do this.
“I never want kids…” Sai muttered under her breath. “Never ever.”
