finallyyyyy after a billion years of vagueposting here are my designs for my object of affection au!! inspired by the song by Jamie Paige of the same name. aka the queerplatonic t4t4t mizuruitoya doll yuri 🙂‍↕️ I’m not great at character design and these aren’t perfect but I am pretty happy with all of these designs (though toya especially will get additional designs bc this is about her development). for a not-too-detailed overview:

so they took my transgender and made it about robots. toya, the kingdom’s perfect “prince”, disgraces his family one too many times and gets his soul transposed into a magical-mechanical doll replica with his free will sealed away. mizurui, two people who use these forms of magic for good, rescue toya from her kingdom and reinstate her freedom. toya is faced with the crushing realisations that her body is dead, she’s been taken from her only two friends, and she is a girl. mizuki and rui help her through this and teach her how to find freedom in her new body and life; over time, she learns about the new world around her, and comes to love it. saki and tsukasa are also key characters but I won’t get into that yet
