Who else is super excited for the release of the new Mortal Kombat movie this week? The original film, and of course the video games, were a staple of my childhood. I entered a Talenthouse contest for fun to design a poster for the film and this is what I came up with. The concept I chose to use was a drastically contrasted depiction using a children’s illustration style with the brutal and gruesome themes of the Mortal Kombat world and fatalities. I didn’t win, but I still consider this one a flawless victory!
