I want to take the chance I have written the Shao Kahn bio for my AU (post right below) to make a meme highlightning the subtle, complicated differences I have established between him and my Reiko:
For the record, for pragmatic reasons my Shao Kahn would pretend he does it for anything other than himself if he were actually asked, at least by an ally. He has an Empire to run, and does need followers, an ideology and objective to keep them fighting for his Empire and whatnot. Hopefully I'll have the chance to yap about it in the future
