Bakugou calling Kirishima “s***ty hair” in fanworks as a teasing nickname is cute, but it’s actually very out of character and erases one of the most important indicator of Kirishima’s and Bakugou’s relationship- Bakugou’s use of Kirishima’s actual name. Bakugou refers to everyone else as a derogatory nickname, even after lots of reminding from others, but only refers to Kirishima as “s***ty hair” once or twice before referring to him exclusively as “Kirishima.” (The first time Bakugou used Kirishima’s actual name was during the cavalry battle, quite early on.) This shows how Bakugou quickly began viewing Kirishima as an equal and even a friend (since he doesn’t use any distancing suffixes like -kun, although that could just be because he’s rude lol). Bakugou isn’t on this kind of basis with anyone else.

Why Tenya Iida might be autistic

Gesticulates a lot while talking

Hand motions are 100% stimming

Black and white morality (he thought leaving his classmates would be considered dishonorable)

Doesn’t really understand social cues (openly calls out Midoriya for muttering during orientation even though that’s kinda rude)

Really likes sticking to solid, understandable rules (like not putting your feet on tables) and gets upset when people don’t stick to said rules

Often asks for more clarity and specifics on instructions

Very literal

Literally says “hey” when president mic says “everybody say hey” in mhas

Doesn’t understand his brother’s metaphor

Since Bakugou is smitten beyond reason, he thinks Kirishima’s cologne is the greatest smell in the world. Bakugou has no clue what brand Kirishima uses, but he figures it must be decent, since it smells like heaven. He’d never admit it, but getting a whiff of it, even when Kirishima isn’t around, give him the butterflies. Unfortunately for him, Kirishima is a stupid teen boy and wears Axe body spray.

I love how Midoriya’s mom is one of his major motivations and she’s still alive. It gives Midoriya a motivation without fridging a female character, and him being a momma’s boy is very sweet :)
