As some of you may or may not know, a while a back I wrote up a post discussing an AU where the various characters from Miraculous Ladybug are adopted by the various DC heroes, and in this AU, the Couffaine siblings, along with Mylene and her cousin based on Kid Mime, are adopted by Oliver Queen, AKA Green Arrow. And since Green Arrow’s parents (or at least his mom) are some depicted as still being alive as of Ollie becoming Green Arrow, let’s have that be the case in my AU. 

Oliver: Guess what? I’ve been alive on an island this whole time. Meet your new grandkids, Luka and Juleka.

Oliver: Hey mom, hey dad, I’m back from Arizona. Meet your new grandson, Roy.

Oliver: I’m back from Paris. Meet your new grandkids, Claude and Mylene. 

Moira: Just once I’d like to have Oliver return from a trip without saying “meet your new grandkids.” Is that too much to ask? Ollie should spend more time around Bruce Wayne, they said. He’d be a good influence on Ollie, they said. 

Roy: Hey grandma, I’m back from stopping my ex-girlfriend from killing some diplomats. BTW, meet your new great-granddaughter, Lian.

Thunders and Spiders

Tim has always been scared of the thunder. His parents never calmed him down or soothed during one when he was a kid, and when he was living with Bruce he was big enough to not be scared of them, so he was always shy and never told Bruce or anyone for that matter when he was afraid. He suspected that Alfred knew though because he would always come to check on Tim during lightning or thunder.

This was one of his biggest secrets, bigger than him being Red Robin. No one knew this about him, not even his best friends. Except one person and that person was none other than his girlfriend, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. He told her during the first time she was staying over because there was a storm.

Part of him was glad that he wouldn’t have to be alone when there will be thunder, part of him was scared that what will she think of him, how pathetic would she think he is being afraid of a little thunder.

Nervously he glanced out of the window, it was really bad. The lighting was really loud and Tim was doing his best to not feel scared. Until, a thunder fell really close and he couldn’t help it anymore. He screamed and snuggled inside his blankets like he did when he was 5. Pretending that there was someone hugging him and soothing him.

Then he felt some real arms wrap around his frame. When he looked at his side, he saw his amazing girlfriend looking at him with concern in her eyes.

“Are you okay Tim?” She asked so softly that Tim felt his fear melt away. There was someone by his side, someone he could rely on. Someone he knew was real.

“Y-Yeah.” Tim stuttered “Just a little afraid of thunder.” It slipped easily like it was not one of his secrets he has been guardian all along and never told anyone about. His eyes widened in panic, not only because he told her one of his biggest secrets but also because what will she think of him!? She will think he is such a big coward being afraid of thunder.

“Hmm.” there comes the taunts and she will totally break-up with him. Instead what she said next shocked Tim “That’s okay, everyone is scared of something. Wanna know a secret I am afraid of spiders, silly I know. But they’re just so scary.” Marinette ranted off about why she hates spiders and Tim knew it was to distract him and he appreciated it. Way more than she could imagine, it was the first time he was getting comforted by someone.

Sighing, he hugged her tighter and snuggled his face in her collarbone. “Bean, I love you. I love you so much.” Marinette stilled, after all it was the first time he said it.

Red filled her face and she stuttered a “I love you too.” and Tim hummed. “Don’t do that, it tickles me.”

Just to annoy her more Tim hummed again “Timmmm.” Marinette whined.

“Okay okay I won’t do it.” Tim said before he started kissing her neck to tickle her more.

“Timmmmmm.”

Yes Timothy Drake-Wayne was afraid of thunder, so what? He has his wonderful girlfriend by his side all the time to comfort him when he is scared.

Just a phone call away

"I miss Marinette." Tim muttered during breakfast. There is still a month before they move in together. All of the heads snapped to him. They were all visiting the Wayne Manor as they did on sundays.

"Well, you guys will move in together soon. So wait, for a while." Dick tried to calm him. How long was he supposed to wait for. It's been so long

"I know, but that doesn't mean I don't miss her." Tim sighed and dropped his head on the table. Alfred just shook his head at his antics.

“-TT- stop being so pathetic Drake, you won’t die if you don’t see her for another month. You should feel blessed that someone such as Marinette even agreed to move in with you.” Damian spoke up from where he was perched up on the shelf. What was he doing there? Tim had no idea. Tim did feel blessed, he felt blessed that someone as amazing as her decided to date him. No matter how many times Marinette explained to him, he never felt worthy of her.

“Master Damian, come down from there and eat your breakfast. Don’t make me repeat myself.” Alfred reprimanded, sighing Damian made his way down the shelf and to the dining table.

“Well Replacement if you miss pixie that much why dontcha call her?” Jason said, putting his head on his hand and leaning forward. No matter how much he said that he was there only for Alfred’s cooking, Tim knew he loved all of them and still considered them family.

“I would but it's not the sameeeee.” Tim whined

“Stop your whining Drake. It’s annoying.” Damian said which earned him a stern ‘Damian’ from Dick.

“If you miss her, you can always visit her.” Bruce said for the first time. If he stayed quiet for a few more moments, Tim isn’t sure if he would be able to tell Bruce was even here.

“Bruce, I love the idea. But I am not that dumb. I have already looked at all the flight tickets. All the flights to Paris are closed because of the Riddler. The next time I meet him, I will make sure he gets extra hurt.”

“I know that Tim, but you can always borrow the private jet. I would let you use the zeta-beams but they’re for superhero business only.” wait, that’s right. Bruce has a private jet. It’s one of the few good choices Bruce made.

“That’s right. This man has a private jet too. Feel free to use it for anything you like.” Jason said tipping his chair back, which Alfred immediately scolded him for.

“Bruce you’ll let me borrow it?” At Bruce’s nod Tim started to get up and run to his room

“Finish your food first Master Tim.”

“Yes, right, food.” Devouring his food Tim made a beeline for his room and packed his bags for a week as quickly as he could.

Two hours into the flight Tim got his much needed sleep, because Jason coaxed him out from taking his work there.

“You're going there to hang with your girlfriend, not for a meeting. Leave your work here.” And Jason did make sense.

When they landed it was 10:00 pm there. By the time he checked into his hotel and got settled, it was already 10:30. Without wasting any time Tim ran to the ‘Boulangerie Patisserie’, where a beautiful girl with deepest blue eyes he had ever seen welcomed him.

“Bonjour, welcome-” As Mari looked up she was shocked to find who it was. “Tim? What are you doing here?” as Marinette came out of the counter to meet him, Tim was already there hugging her.

Looking into her eyes he answered “Hey Bean. I was just missing you. So I thought why not?”

“But aren’t all the flights closed due to the Riddler's, who has a disgusting sense of fashion by the way, attack?” At Marinette’s confused glance Tim explained how Bruce owned a private jet. “Of course, you rich people. But, I am really happy you just came here to meet me.” Marinette kissed him

“I’ll go to hell for you and your kisses.” Tim looked lovingly into her eyes.

“As touched as I am, you do know that if you missed me you could’ve called me and I would’ve teleported there?” All the colors drained from Tim’s face and he groaned at his stupidity. Marinette was just a phone call away and Tim wasted this much time travelling there. Well, he got to see her, so it was all worth it in the end. He is still dumb though.
