I'm kind of uncomfortable with these scenes. Marinette starts to go crazy because of the secret. In the literal sense of the word.

She was about to tell Adrian the truth. But she changed her mind again. And every time it's getting harder to hold on.

Quite a heavy episode...

I thought Marinette would be mostly… Marinette in this episode. But no. She even began to see hallucinations while drawing Gabriel.

  If there’s one thing I want it’s for Betterfly to return so Adrien can have some Closure

Much like Adrien helped his alternate get closure about his mother passing away, I’d love for them to bring him back to help Adrien get closure about his father. No he’s not the same Gabriel by a long shot, but having to talk to him, really vent out his mixed feelings about the man Gabriel was and what he should have been… what he once might have been before Gabriel's grief twisted him into the terrible person and father he became when Adrien was so young.

If anything just allowing him to truly talk to a Gabriel (Mr.Agreste was Adrien being able to vent and scream at him like he always wanted and needed to, this would be an actual conversation) Have them ask questions and get answers. Maybe realize he may never get some answers, because this worlds Gabriel is long gone.

Betterfly finishes the conversation with something like...

Betterfly: "I cannot speak for your father, for I am not that version of him... but know that there will always be a Gabriel that loves you Adrien..."

Then Betterfly pulls him into a big hug and Adrien freezes... and slowly melts into it and hugs back. Because even if it's not his father, just being able to have that closure to move on, the comfort that there is a Gabriel who will look out for his alternate... and even him too... It allows him to make peace and let go of his mixed feelings of this world's Gabriel. Continue his life and focus on never becoming what Gabriel had been, and finally be free.

....and plus I really wanted Betterfly to give him a hug in the special like please poor boy deserves it.
