Every time someone who isn’t a gay man or a lesbian claims that gay/lesbian are mspec sexualities I want to scream. They’re exclusive sexualities for a reason. They’re not bisexuality or pansexuality. And no I’m not a transphobe so don’t get any ideas.

hey y'all, can we please talk about wlw/queer women using the f slur? like i see a lot of women trying to reclaim because it's been used against them and i just. it doesn't sit right with me.

like just because you've been called it doesn't give you the right to say it? i know plenty of straight guys who have been called a faggot, and they don't use it because they aren't attracted to other men.

i also understand that language can change over the years, but it really hasn't in this case. i've seen a few different definitions, but they all boil down to "a gay man/person" the one i'm going to go with is from dictionary.com that says a gay person, especially a gay man.

so using this definition, the only people that should really use it are mlm, nblm, or nblnb. (edit: id like to change the phrasing here a bit because i know not every nblm/nb identifies as gay. instead id like to put "gay men and nb people who identify as gay)

also why do you want to use slurs in the first place?? they're literally slurs, they're not a good thing. i would much prefer to not "have" a slur anyway.

like i can see where you're coming from but in my eyes, it just reinforces the rhetoric that all men are disgusting and that loving men is a curse and that mlm/nblm need to get well soon.

finally, if you're THAT eager to use a slur, d*ke is right there. the definition of that ive seen most is "a lesbian." but just like faggot, i'm assuming that would include all wlw (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't believe i am.)

tl;dr: so yeah just please. if you're a wlw (nonbinary people can bonestly do whatever tf they want tbh) who tries to reclaim faggot, please don't. it's very offensive and disheartening to me and many others.

So now people are using the reasoning "saying women/nb people DNI is misogynistic because, well, you're not excluding straight men" to shit on mlm blogs. And it's funny, because it made me realise I've never seen a single straight man try to force their way onto an mlm blog (why would they? They're straight) but you can't go two minutes on an mlm-exclusive blog without seeing someone calling them "nbphobic" or "misogynistic" for not allowing women/nb people. Is it any wonder mlm-only blogs are more upfront about the fact they don't want nb people/women interacting?

Something I've noticed a lot on this hell of a website is that forced femininity or masculinity on mlm ships is very common. Two men can be masculine and date. Two men can be feminine and date. Two men can be androgynous and date. It doesn't always have to be feminine and masculine. It isnt even that common. Two men can just be average and date. It's tiring to see this shit over and over again. It's such obvious forced heteronormativity it fuckin hurts. Mlm are more than your yaoi ship and I'm pretty sure it just stems from that. Stop pretending that gay men exist for your viewing pleasure and for you to relate to.

All of you MLM blogs who don't allow NBLM interaction need to get it through your heads that NB people aren't some fucking mystical third gender that is all of the time so incredibly different from your own. NBLM can be gay for boys like you are! Nonbinary men gay exist! Stop fucking excluding us! It hurts like shit!

Gayness isn't so black and white. It never fucking has been. Please for the love of God just learn about us, talk to us, realize that we're not so different. Some of us are just the nonbinary, genderqueer, or gender nonconforming version of you.

You don't lose anything by letting people who are also gay for boys interact with your blogs. Your blogs are about being gay for boys, afterall!

You can write that "I respect enbies" in your bio all you want, but it won't be true until you fucking listen to us telling you, over and over, that we aren't all the same and we aren't so different from you. Why the hell would we want to follow an MLM blog if we were that much different?

I'm literally begging you. Just let us love and have pride with you. Trust that we know and understand our identities enough.
