“I’ll crush you! I’ll make a popsic— UH OH!!” Mega Man, Ice Man, and Magma Man vs. Frost Man I figured it was about time I drew the lil’ blue guy again! It’s still freezing in my part of the world, and I guess you can say, this is just my way of saying that I hope it warms up soon.
I love this animal the sheemp
MY CD'S-
What do you think happened to the lady they freed from the pool in book one? I always headcanoned that she became the crazy lady in mm1
Similar, but I headcanon that she becomes Crazy Helen in #14. Okay, fine, Cassie doesn't mention recognizing Crazy Helen as the woman she carried to safety during their first mission. But it was dark in there, Cassie had horse eyes, there was a lot else going on. And it is strongly implied that Crazy Helen is an escaped yeerk host.
Honestly, I like the headcanon that the shoe lady from MM1 was a controller whose yeerk died as a direct result of Rachel destroying the kandrona and the subsequent mass starvation. Mostly because I'm a big fan of the dramatic irony in Rachel having changed this woman's life and neither of them knowing it at the time.
Man, I still don't have the brain power to articulate my thoughts on the law of Seerow's Kindness but I can tell you that the revelation blew my mind as a kid. Like, I want to talk about it. I want to talk about it so much. But brain no worky right now. At least not on that topic.
On the other hand, I also have so many thoughts about the butterfly effect of destroying the Kandrona in 7. In 8 we see the obvious: the deaths of yeerks. But we also see that for every Derane 344 there's also an Eslin 359 - a Yeerk made disillusioned and resentful by Visser Three's "leadership" who makes choices now with the knowledge of how their empire makes decisions.
There's the Mr. Pardues who manage to make a scene before dying. Did any manage to have at least one bystander understand their message? Did some escape like the woman from MM1? How many were voluntary hosts before the empire abandoned their yeerks to starve? Did volunteers in a less expendable position start having second thoughts they shared with their own yeerks? On that note, how well did the real Chapman know Mr. Pardue?
And of course the effects of learning the empire will kill freed hosts has effects on how the Animorphs continue their own war efforts. Would they have tried some reckless plan to save Tom early on if they didn't have this new knowledge looming over his situation causing them to take more caution?
No wonder the Ellimist made this play.
chapter distribution in megamorphs books!
okay just some background. the megamorphs books consist of four companion books to the main animorphs series, and unlike most of the main series, in which each book is told from the perspective of one of the animorphs, megamorphs books are told from the perspectives of all of them. each of them get a few chapters in each book to tell their side of the story.
in the main series, there's a "narration cycle," in which the perspective characters' books go in a specific order. Jake -> Rachel -> Tobias/Ax -> Cassie -> Marco. this is true for most of the series. megamorphs books don't have a narration cycle; rather, the person most relevant to the story at that time is the one to narrate it. it's definitely a smart way to write it. it also leads to unequal perspective distribution, which I'm not dunking on at all — I actually think that in some cases it's funny.
percentages/statistics of each book's character distribution (and with all four books together) under the cut!
More cleaning, more old MegaMan drawings found. I couldn't go through a single sketchbook of mine without at least ONE MegaMan related drawing. (Most aren't shown due to secondhand embarrassment jsjsjs)
The brain worms... They have always been here.
i like this guy a lot
