♡ — Yoona had entered the conference room with no expectations. She was told to attend the meeting and to report back whether the pitched variety show was worth sending artists to. Why she was chosen to attend the meeting, she had no idea. As she heard the question, she turned around and smiled in acknowledgement. She glanced around at the room that only had a few people as more and more staff members slowly started filing in. She whispered her reply.    ❝ Nobody has told me anything yet. I don’t know if I should be excited or scared. ❞

Mint didn’t hesitate to just stop her pose in a very distinct position, trying her best to look like a leaf as the other suggested before. “Is this alright? Do I look like a fresh mint leaf now?” She couldn’t keep her own puns back reason why her balance was ruined by the laughter that followed with it. “This reminded me of a very known quote that goes like…When you put water in the cup, you become the cup. That’s how I should be too, because I got the name Mint, should become a fresh leaf!” 

She was just joking at first, but now that the older played along with her, the corner of her lips curled up into a wide grin. Wasting no time, she quickly snapped a few photos of the newly found ‘mint leaf’. “I live for puns. That was a great one. You are now a fresh mint leaf, and I totally approve of it.” Soft giggles fell past her lips, she handed the phone over to the other to let her have a good look of the masterpiece that is.. the leaf. “That’s some good balancing skills too though. If only our laughter did not ruin it...”

“i seriously believe you, but i still want to know who took my snack while i was at the toilet for just five minutes. aish, you can’t leave anything around these days, especially when it comes to food. when i find the thief, i’m going to make them buy me the double of what they took from me!”

To be fair, Joohyun was the only one there and the one she had asked to watch over her snack, making her the prime suspect. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have gone elsewhere while you were away, too.” She looked down. “But earlier, I think I saw a waiter collecting your unfinished food...maybe it was him...”

“Of course not. Why would there-” Kei stopped in mid sentence when she laid her eyes on what looked like a translucent silhouette of girl with long hair. She opened her mouth to scream but no sound ever came out. She was too scared to make so much as a peep. Instead, she did the only logical thing her brain thought of. Run. Without wasting another second, Kei grabbed onto her companions hand and led them both in the opposite direction. “I thought you said this was one of those man made haunted houses, not a real one!”
