Obligatory Con recap.

So Wednesday night was spent cramming and finishing stuff. We crashed and packed in the morning, then we drove down to the cities and hung out at the MOA for a whole before -GASP- Engel arrived! Dramatic hugging happened and suitcases were dropped to do the hugging thing. Aaaand then we chilled for the rest of the night really and I learned parking garages scare me when I have to drive. We went to the rainforest cafe and had expensive meals we couldn't really afford (so adventurous) and went back to the hotel to sleep and swim in the pool. Friday we woke up and got ready. BU Eridan, Sollux, and Karkat were on the prowl for potential Homestuck friends. Went to the truth or dare panel, and since I'm blind at cons, I couldn't fully enjoy it since I sat in the back but! The cutie Patoot Eridan spotted me and some vague self-cest happened before I left to go get food. The rest of the day is kind of a blur. Played some spin the Faygo and got earfins for Condesce that I absolutely adore! Showers and swimming. Saturday I was quick to get up and harass everyone out of bed. Instead spent an hour doing my own thing. More harassment. Engel got up and we started makeup so we could make it to the panel. No such luck, Psii was in screensaver mode. After three hours on my makeup alone (Five in total for everyone?) we set out as Condesce, Psiioniic, and Signless. Dear lord I don't think I've had that much fun in a cosplay in a while. Everyone seemed to like me and honestly I was a whirlwind of emotions. I've never got so many nice comments except for with Chrysalis, but Chrysalis comments were always in passing and not someone actually conversing with me about it. Wow. I'm kind of emotional. I worked hard and it wasn't even finished. ;u; That day was a whirlwind too. A staff member told me I NEEDED to be in the masquerade but I wanted to spend time with Engel since we hadn't seen her in a while. I kind of wish I had done the masquerade but what's done is done and I wouldn't have won anything anyway. Too many amazing people. AND EVERYONE WAS SUCH SWEETIES! I couldn't handle it! It's all a blur! Sunday was my lazy day and I ended up doing Sugar from OFF lazily and putting my earfins on. We left the con to go to the MOA for some us time and people thought I was adorable. And weird. XD Then a six hour drive home. Still haven't unpacked. Can't wait to get the pictures from Engel. I'm so excite. So there's that.

So! I went to Anime Fusion in MN this weekend~ :3 Despite, you know, living in UT. And the fact there was a con in Utah at the exact same time. Yup, totally ditched that for some hangout time in Minneapolis with my best bros.

Anyhow! The story will come later but for now all you care about iiiiss:

FRIDAY: KARKAT (with an Eridan and Godtier!Sollux and also sometimes John and Jade) :3 Walked around in pjs and my Signless cloak for a bit too but never mind that. If you took a pic or saw me then, I apologize.

SATURDAY: THE SIGNLESS/THE SUFFERER (with The Condesce and The Psioniic at my side uwu)

Sunday: If you saw me this day, I’m so sorry. XD Kinda just put on the most comfy plane clothes and suddenly became a Karkitty.

Pictures to come and thank you so much to everyone who talked to my silly shy face, took pictures, and to those who roomed with me. <3 It was seriously the best con I’ve been to in forever and I’m certainly coming back again.

So! Planning to have a small ancestors group for anime fusion. Is anyone else planning to go as an ancestor (Homestuck and ancestors being Signless and Psiioniic and Condesce and all of them)? I’d love to take pictures with you. I think the plan is we’re doing them on Saturday so yeah!

Midwesterners, come join in the potential shenanigans

Alright, let's try to organize ourselves here because the midwest seems to be a place where no one can find each other because we're all separated by corn fields and lakes and giant banks of snow.

If you're a Homestuck and are interested in meeting/knowing/forming deadly alliances with other Homestucks, then like or reblog this. Then maybe we can form an official group here or on Facebook! And actually set up, you know, meetings and events and such!

(And you are under no obligation to friend/follow anyone because we all have different interests in the fandom and maybe are not interested in otps or fics or art or just random reblogs of whatever. That's fine! No judging, judging is for dunkasses.)

So spread the word my fellow farmhands and casserole/hot dish eaters. Go forth and be social.
