"It's just dinner. I can't believe you," Moash muttered as Adolin checked the mirror again.

Adolin's eyes slid to Moash's reflection. "Can't believe that I care about my appearance, or can't believe how handsome I am?" he smirked.

Moash rolled his eyes, but his answering smirk belied him. "Can't believe how much time you're putting into your hair when you know I'm just going to ruin it the second you step away from that mirror."

"You sound jealous of my mirror." Adolin's voice deepened. "Maybe I like the anticipation."

"Oh, fuck off!" Moash grabbed Adolin in a headlock and ruffled his hair until his scalp tingled.

"Hey!" Adolin squirmed, then threw Moash to the floor in a wrestling move, following with his own body to land on top of him, knocking the wind out of him.

They never made it to the dinner.

listen. all I'm saying is that if you assume for a second that kalmoash is real (even bare minimum moash has a crush on kaladin), moash and adolin BOTH lost their partners when kaladin and shallan fell into the chasms in WoR. They both stood there, in full shardplate, and watched their partner fall to their supposed death while they couldn't do anything to save them.

And I dunno I think they should've dealt with that really unhealthily with each other

I was actually writing a little for the moadolin fic earlier so win for being able to remember what the last line was lmao.

"What?" Moash had half a mind to just leave, but some small, annoying part of him seemed to still care about Adolin. It was small though. And it was annoying.
