politics mock exam🗞️

I had my 4 hour long ap politics mock exam from 9:30am-1:30pm today. The room we were in was horrible (it was one of the chemistry classrooms), one of the supervisors was my ap english teacher (I don’t like him) and my classmates were talking the whole time. But other than that it went pretty well :) We got to pick between international relations (Mali war) and economy (economic situation in germany). I picked the latter because I knew nothing about Mali. The first 1.5h were rather unproductive as I struggled to get into the topic and form grammatically correct sentences…Once I got over that struggle (and took a break to stretch and eat) I managed to work through all 4 tasks without major issues. Wrote 5 pages / a total of 1138 words and was done 45min before the deadline :D

My second mock exam is on Tuesday (ap english) so I will spent my weekend studying for that. Managed to get tomorrows history homework done so now I will either relax or work on my term paper.

i used up like 1/3 of my mock exam scratch paper just drawing dante and cowboys…. and they took it away afterwards 💔

there’s nothing more painful than after failing my last mock exam, working my ass off to improve my essay skills, memorise the right things, go to extra lessons so i have limited free time, getting fearmongered by teachers about exam grades and revision only for them to disappear because mental health breaks are only allowed if you’re a teacher, revising using every method possible for my january mocks… to have a panic attack as a result of all this stress in the mock exam and forget. forget everything. i went blank. the teachers wanted stress, said stress is a good motivator, and they got stress. they got so much stress from me that now i have nothing to show how smart i really am. i know my stuff. ask me about philosophy and i will tell you. i find such pleasure and enrichment in my lessons, bouncing ideas and theories off of each other. now i have to look my teachers in the eye and tell them i failed them again. but was it really me who failed? or was it the school for ignoring students mental health? the government, for assuming that exams are the best way to measure a student’s talent? i am so sick of this system but i am also a victim of it. i’m stuck. i know i’m smart. too smart to quit. its just getting harder to remember that when the method used to measure my worth tells me i have none. i know it gets better once i leave this hellscape. but i don’t feel it. god, school is gonna have me messed up for some time even after i leave. the system sucks. and i’m sorry for anyone who relates to this in any way. the system failed you. it failed us.

What are you supposed to say when someone gets less than you on a test? Like you say “that’s good” and just come across insincere and sympathetic so Idk wtf are you meant to say I’ve never learnt and I don’t think a lot of people have either.

mock test for open book exam!

that was a disaster!!! 

i realised i’ll fail with open book exam! i am so poor in reading and writing simultaneously, no hand-eye coordination!!  and i messed up the pdf and forgot to mention total no. of sheets and let’s include some more blunders! but it was just mock so i’ll do better in finals.

i’ll just do it on my own, without the book. 

i’ll fail if i cheat even though it’s allowed!!
