Q: Can I enter the faggot brackets? A: entries for this year (2026) are closed but you can ask to be tagged for when we're doing signups next year!

Q: Do I have to be nominated by someone else to enter the brackets? A: no !! you have to sign up yourself to join.

Q: Can I nominate myself for the faggot brackets? A: we don't do nominations here; you have to sign up during the signup period using the official means of signing up which will probably be a google form. ask us to tag you for next year if you don't want to miss it!

Q: Is it too late to send propaganda? A: The ask box is open to propaganda before the brackets officially start as well as between polls. As long as the ask box says YES PROPAGANDA, you can send us propaganda

Q: How do I send propaganda? A: After you make sure the ask box says YES PROPAGANDA, send us an ask including your propaganda as well as what contestant the propaganda is for

Q: Can I make propaganda for someone else? A: yes !! make sure your propaganda is approved by your contestant though before you send it to us

Q: Can I nominate someone else for the brackets? A: i mean i guess??? but they have to sign themselves up when the time comes so maybe don't do that and just ask to be tagged for next year's (2027) signups instead and you can send them our way when that happens

Not to be impatient or anything but why did this blog shutted down? I wanted to submit my headcannon

Technically this blog hasn't shut down, its just been on a hiatus that's gone on much longer than I think anyones expected or wanter. I dont know if any of the other mods are even still here, but i need to find new ones, whether it's through opening applications or reaching out to a trusted friend (or both) but currently I dont have the energy to do that. This last year has been *a lot* ans that's even without covid, and 2019 was a busy year for me too.

I know this blog has brought joy to a lot of people and I hope someday to bring it back but I've been extremely depressed so I dont know when that will be. I might try to queue some posts soon but I dont want to make any promises.

I'm so sorry to everyone who loves this blog, especially those who have been here a long time.

TLDR: dont know what other mods are doing, havent spoken with them, depression bad and last year was a lot to deal with. Don't know if or when this blog will pick back up but I hope it will someday

Propaganda Guidelines

This post exists because we realized we don't have anything really detailed that explains our propaganda/campaign materials rules.

What is propaganda? In this context, propaganda is any campaign material for a contestant in the faggot brackets. This includes but is not limited to: paragraphs, quotes, posters, ads, and videos (I don't think anyone has made a video for us but ya know. It's an idea).

What rules does my propaganda have to follow? In order for us to include your propaganda, it must: 1. only be uplifting - your propaganda has to be FOR your contestant. Any propaganda against the other contestant will get you disqualified and banned from participating. 2. be approved by your contestant - if you make propaganda for someone other than yourself (which is 100% allowed), make sure your contestant approves it before you send it to us! (this rule is new for the 2026 competition)

The faggot brackets are a friendly competition that's supposed to be fun and uplifting. We're taking back a slur and using it to celebrate ourselves! Please don't be mean or ruin it for anyone else.

additionally. we don't do nominations. to be in the brackets you have to sign yourself up during the signup period which takes place usually in may or june !! this is to ensure that we're not calling someone a slur without their consent.

if you didn't make it in time this year you can send us an ask requesting to be tagged for it and we'll tag you when it's time to sign up next year !!
