EJ and his Lover watching a movie but then they fall asleep on his chest*

Ej blinked as he watched the screen, currently a blonde girl was running through the woods with an injured ankle while screaming bloody murder for help.

“How dumb can one human be…” he murmured, thinking about how she was giving away her location by screaming. He let out a sigh as he played with your hair, feeling your heart beat against his chest. You had finally given him the chance to show you even demons can feel love.

For once in his life he felt normal in that moment, laying on the couch, you laying peacefully against his chest, his mask sat on the coffee table. This must be what the other half feels like- the humans. With their lovers and families, no running from the law or killing people so they  can eat. Yet, here you were. Close enough he could kiss you if he wanted to, which he did. 

His voices were at bay, not a violent thought in his broken mind. You had fallen asleep about half an hour ago, and the demon couldnt bring himself to disturb you. And so he laid still, listening to you breathe, feeling your steady heartbeat and for once no voice telling him to rip it out. No, he just wanted to enjoy the moment of peaceful normalcy with you. 

He twirled a strand of you hair between his fingers as you shifted in your sleep, rubbing you face against his chest.  How he wished he could stay like that forever, in peaceful bliss. No blood, no running, and no more voices. 

He thought about what it would be like if he had never went in to the woods that night. If he was still a human. Would he be a successful surgeon, married to you with children? Perhaps your paths never would have crossed. An all too rare moment in his shattered life, he was slightly thankful for that night. It led him to you. You who can tame the voices in his head, and calm the raging storm in his mind. You who doesnt judge him for his eating habits, the things he no longer can control. Who is willing to give a demon the time of day. 

He knew this moment would come to an end as he rubbed circle on your back. But he will forever cherish it, even when hes brutally murdering humans, even when his temper gets the best of him and you become afraid. When the voices in his mind are saying unspeakable things. 

Its too late, you are his and he will never let you go. But he likes to think that you never want to leave, because you love him just as much as he loves you. 

For once, the demon that is Eyeless Jack is complete.
