The Status of Eddsworldweek2018

Alright, so while Mod KZ and I would love to bring Eddsworldweek for a second year, admittedly we’re people with lives of our own (how iconoclastic, I know) who don’t want to put some serious amount of time and effort into something nobody cares about. 

So please, if you’re interested in the event, please like or reblog this post to let us know (reblogs are optimal, but you do you, as they say). If it seems like there's not enough interest, we may choose not to plan the event.

Well, shit, since I likely won’t be awake right now, I figured I’d write this now (those all night writing sprints are a bitch, what can I say) . Anyway, it’s the final day of Eddsworldweek year two, and I’d like to take the time to thank everyone who participated this year, literally speaking, this couldn’t have happened without you. I hope you feel the love we put into this, and put love into yourself, and if not, then I’m sincerely sorry for wasting your time. I’d also like to give great thanks to Mod KZ who graciously stepped forward to help me in this endeavor, alongside with being the sole member of the Not-Being-A-Bastard-In-Public-Communications department. Give ‘em some love if you can, yeah? Anyway, I hate to ramble, so until next time, stay safe, and be kind to one another. Let’s see what happens when next year rolls around.

Alright, so it seems we’ll be able to run Eddsworldweek this year! Currently we’ve got the prompts finalized, with a mix of returning prompts from last year, and new ones!

We’ve also figured out the date, and it’s June 15th - June 21st! Now all’s that left is preparation for the fancy graphic and and possibly a heads-up post.

Okay, so, news, apparently the Mobile Page Post work-around doesn’t work. God damn it. Guess I’ll have to find another work-around to try and to actually test this time. Would also likely explain why a lot of people couldn’t find the information, so... wow, I’m really fuckin’ sorry for being such a dick about that.

What will happen to this blog after the week is over?

It’ll go silent with a couple of late entries until around next year, when we’ll start talking about the plans for week2019.

Okay, before I get into answering your question, CHILL. In the rules and about pages, it says that we accept late entries. Also, in many, many, many places, we’ve given access to what the prompts are. For Day 5 it’s Monsters / Song, and for Day 6 it’s Teensworld / Children.
