Scrub here! If I didn't want attention to getting yet another maker, I could have not posted. I don't mind the negative attention and the asks have been surprisingly nice to me (I appreciate that c:). Before this reset it was all "first time custom owners". Even with custom owners like me spinning millions every reset. So I was surprised that I was able to get one. But yeah, I'm certainly in the getting-richer-with-customs category. (And I've always held the belief that the system should change).
Also, I'm not nice/generous enough to give away makers like other users (who in my mind are absolute angels for doing so), nor do I want to distribute my customs widely at low cost, due to time and selfish reasons. So I'm as selfish as most people on DV, and I happen to be on the side that can benefit from the system. Not trying to get compliments or empathy. Just wanted to explain my POV out into the open :D
