It's such a shame that the Shishigumi never got the development they deserved tbh
Like what if we had gotten chapters about how and when exactly the Shishigumi was created and its history, what they were like at the height of their power, before the mayor created the campaigns that destroyed some of their power and restored the reputations of other lions, and when the Shishigumi was too ruthless for even the BAM.
Imagine if we had gotten backstories for all of the lions, and got to know them all individually, and got to see how they felt after they lost so many of their members in roughly a year and a half.
How they functioned after Louis left, and Melon became their boss.
I know they aren't the main characters or anything (as much as I would have loved that haha), but I really think their potential was wasted and that they were treated mostly as plot devices for Louis, rather than being their own people who had their own lives and stories, particularly as carnivores who grew up within the BAM's own culture.
I’ve been thinking a bit about time travel. It’s been portrayed in media in a bunch of different ways.
Me, I can’t think of it going any other way than a ‘snap back’ if you do it with the intent to change something. If you travel back in time in order to change something, and you manage to change it.. Well, then you’re at the same time erasing your reason for going, so the timeline, while it might change for a fraction of a moment, should automatically snap back to the original one at the very moment you’re about to go back in time. You’d potentially be halting that timeline forever if you keep going back to change that one thing.
Not that you couldn’t change anything. You could potentially change things dramatically, as long as they don’t impact the timeline in a way that ends up with you not going back in time, then it would just snap back to the original one.
It’d be a really cool observational tool though! Going back in time to look at historical events in real time, that’d be amazing. But I bet there’d be tons of restrictions, rules and even laws in place to make sure people don’t accidentally or intentionally mess with the timeline. If I ever do a futuristic dnd game, that’s how I’d implement timetravel. How would you?
This needs to be said. I fucking love the letacefuck tag. Its so bloody funny and I'm so happy at the content in it. Like i folllwed it since like day one when there was only lile 3 posts. XD I regret nothing. XD
So... I'm not gonna say new f/o yet but... there's this guy 👉👈
I haven't considered myself part of the selfship community for years at this point and peeking in or seeing it pass by nowadays is confusing. Just a million new terms and discourses. Makes me feel ancient for not being able to or not even wanting to keep up.
Thinkin about agender mordecai again
I hear a lot about how it's okay to not want to share an f/o and that's not an issue, but I never hear about anyone who wants to actively work on being okay with sharing.
Any tips?
