Iris Aguilar is a gorgeous, 29 year old model from Seattle, Washington.

Iris always had an interest for modelling, photography and the arts. In 2016, she was contacted by AlaskaAir, with the proposition to perform as a model in an advertising campaign. She was totally surprised by this proposal, but after some hesitation, she said yes.

Iris had a lovely experience at the photo shoot, and she was really happy with the way AlaskaAir represented the disabled community. She contacted several modelling agencies and she was eventually contracted by Unique People Advertising. Things went fast after that, and Iris now regularly does photo shoots and advertising campaigns. She currently works for the We Speak modelling agency.

Iris was born with Cerebral Palsy and has diplegia in both her legs. She has been a wheelchair user for all her life.

What a gracious gift it is to be able to launch The Loved Ones, something that’s been on my heart for the past four years. 

For those of you who don’t know, my name is Yazzi, and I’m a photographer and makeup artist with a huge heart for people. I want to see everyone I come across become all they are destined to be. I fell into the world of fashion photography by accident and the deeper I connected to the people in it, the more I saw them fighting against who they truly were to make others happy. I sat down four years ago to write a fictional novel about an agency, and instead began planning what it would actually look like when the time was right. I’ve waited patiently for everything to align and to hear the simplest word in my spirit, “GO”. Mid-2016, I felt prompted to begin more in depth planning, and allowed myself to not just dream, but dream big. This is an avenue where I can partner with people to raise them into their full potential. The models at The Loved Ones will always be true to themselves, even if it goes against the grain of the industry. I pray they pursue this as a career because they want to - because they feel like they live and breathe it and can make a difference, not simply because they’re beautiful and can make a quick dollar from it. The ones we represent, we will send out believing whole-heartedly that they know themselves and are passionate to stand up for who they are in every circumstance. 

I don’t take this opportunity lightly. I believe that I’ve been called to this for a reason. My soul cries out for the world to see true freedom. A freedom that causes action to be taken for all that’s in each seperate heart, unifying us for one purpose - to love each other with everything we’ve got. This is simply me doing my part.
