Curious, if youre still around - what are your preferences for calculating a birth chart?

personally, my preferences would be changing the house system to whole signs because it allows you to see the chart holistically, especially when reading the aspects within the houses & signs.
also, taking note of the rulers of houses & chart ruler. for example; 1st house sagittarius ruled by jupiter in virgo. it allows you to see how the house is interlinked with the way the ruling planet functions.
i check for all the dignities, triplicities, & quadruplicities as well, because it really does add color and shows you the strengths and weaknesses of each planet and element within the chart.
