Fun(ny) Fact: For his new ship, Louis was faced with the difficult task of having to come up with an inspiring and stirring speech that had to include the ship’s name. He was stumped.
‘...in the end, to my shame, all I could come up with was, ‘Right lads, this ship of ours is a gift sent straight from Heaven, straight from the top, from Our Father who Wishart in Heaven.’ The Lord’s Prayer joke got a lot of laughs but I think it was the Admiralty who were laughing at me when they named Her.’
