modjuvia replied to your post “I feel like buying a canvas and painting RapMon or Suga”
do it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
You know what. I’ll buy some canvases, paint and markers tomorrow morning and when I’m home. I’ll look for a pic to draw/paint.
The defensive part of it however requires physical contact. The user usually would take it with their hand and crush it for magic and simply blocking physical attacks by bending their arm or whatever they are blocking with. Now for example of the magic blocking, lets say the OC in question booty smacks Gray in front of Juvia-sama, she shoots some magic at the OC and he/she simply grabs the spell by guessing at the power and makes the block equal or more to negate it.
sothe99 asked:
The spells require concentration first off and the user can maintain minor parts of there body for as long as they are able to focus on it. However larger parts like the chest or the whole body require much larger magical power thus meaning they can hold it for maybe a minute.
Why would you smack Mod Juvia’s Beloved!
Mod juvia thinks that them having to physically having to deflect the magic spell is a very unique idea and she likes it!! If they guessed incorrectly would the full spell hit them or only the part that they couldn't deflect?
Does the whole body drain a lot of magic or all of it? Or could they keep fighting?
I know you've been unactive for about 3 weeks now, but I was wondering if it would be alright if I made my OC a third generation sand dragon slayer? If yes, how should I go about it?
Mod Juvia is so sorry she has been inactive for so long and to make you wait!
Dragon slayer Magic is tricky. Many avoid it because it’s so hard to really pin down. You need to make sure draw backs are a thing and though we see characters like Natsu, Wendy, Gajieel and many others as super strong characters who can beat anything make sure your OC isnt over powered.
Just because their a dragon slayer doesn't mean their gonna be perfect at their magic or super strong at first. Take Wendy as an example. Shes better at support magic but over time in the show and manga we have watched her ability to fight back and use other kinds of parts of her magic grow.
Now third generation is a good idea! Mod Juvia would love to read any ideas you have and help you figure out if your on the right track.
more about smoky:
sorry I forgot to add some stuff, the first picture,
her name was starlight at the point of the first picture, right before her big re-design, at this point, she was the daughter of princess Celestia (the ruler of Equestria) but she was adopted along with her total Mary sue sister shimmer, shimmer had died leaving starlight to go crazy slowly. then Celestia adopted a new daughter to live with them, she was totally scrapped by the re-design. the only good thing about her that I can remember is the fact that she was not born an alicorn but made one like the main charicter of the show Twilight Sparkle.
post re-design
the first change to starlight was her mane, the top of her mane was changed up a bit and she lost the green outline to her hair. I based this off of g-3 minty’s mane. then came her name, back then I was terrible at names, so I used a name generator for inspiration, her name became smoky light (or smoky for short). then I dulled the red in her mane and darkened the grey of her coat. now that she was new and improved design wise, it was time for her backstory. she now lives in a country like the us too equestria, after the fall of the monarchy, in a more modern civilization with cars and electricity, alicorn magic has been dumbed down as sorta a de-evelution thing. smoky has two new sisters: black oasis (pre re-design starlight with a darker coat), and forte bass (my sisters oc). alicorns are avoided in public area’s because there still slightly rare, and kind of abnormal, but smoky doesn’t care that much. now it was time for her family. her family is still mostly alicorns, the only exeption being her and forte, both born unicorns, but made alicorns later when achiveing a great task. her mother is my first oc stargate, and her father a pony with rainbow eyes, horn, and mane/tail. (unicorn), and oasis as described earlier, is her other sister.
I was wondering if this was a good redemption, or if I still need to change things ^u^
You’ve put a lot of work into making sure that she wasnt a Mary sue, which is great you realized her first design and noticed that she needed work.
You really really need to think about the task that they did to become alicorns. There really aren’t very many and having two alicorns might be a bit to many. Their task would have to be something amazing to have both of them become alicorns.
For her father having him have rainbow eyes might be a problem. Thats a lot of rainbow on one pony and have multicolored eyes is stepping into sue territory. Think about how much rainbows your shoving onto one OC, okay?
Why is there magic dumbed down? Is unicorn magic dumbed down as well? Why was it dumbed down. Why avoid Alicorns. When people see rare things they flock to it. Unless they are seen as a bad thing in this area. Is that it?
I would say that you still need to do a bit more work. Her backstory is very very vague.
If you come up with more info go ahead and send in the info to us and we’ll read through it again.
Mod Ussop do you have anything to say?
