Lynn Malerba

Lynn Malerba was born in 1953. Malerba served as Chair of the Tribal Council for the Mohegan tribe as well as its executive director of health and human services. In 2010, she became Chief of the Mohegan Tribe, the first woman to hold this position in the tribe's modern history. In 2022, Malerba was appointed Treasurer of the United States.

Fun fact! In Connecticut, there is a Native American tribe called the Mohegans [Moe-hee-gans], and we’re known as the Wolf People! Somehow, Hunter would find this out and demand why he wasn’t told about them [New England isn’t well known for its tribes :( ]. Unfortunately, Hunter is fresh from the Demon Realm and misunderstood the term ‘Wolf People’. You can imagine his disappointment when he finds out we’re not actually anthropomorphic wolves.

Not so fun fact: wolves were hunted to extinction in Connecticut in the late 1700s (thanks Colonists /sarc), so Hunter can’t see a real wild wolf :(
