tease tidbit tuesday: moira and the terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day sex pollen

i mentioned this absolutely stupid goofy cracky thing in the tags on this post and @eyesonstars-feetonground and @thats-the-biz-babe went oh?????? about it, so here's some moira pov, and extremely hand-wavey comic book "science", below the cut. (thanks to @beefcakekinard and @aringofsalt for sprinting with me tonight!)

content warning: sex pollen, and all that entails (mild noncon including having an unwanted audience). moira's suicidal ideation, but in the most looney tunes way possible, and all's well that ends well. the second snippet includes buck running his mouth under the influence of The Pollen. final product will end up rated at least mature. again: this is a crack fic. warnings apply, but also, it's goofy as hell.

fun fact: this fic's working title is MOIRA. all caps. (think NEWMAN from seinfeld.)

Suddenly, there’s a deepening of the ambient noise inherent to helicopter flight, and a bright white-green hue shines through the—well, not the passenger side, because the pilot’s on that side—windows of their craft. Brutus keeps the craft stable—she’ll give him that much. “I think he wants us to pull over,” Legs says. Do you, Legs? Moira wants to scream. Do you really? “What are we gonna do?” Legs presses, leaning closer to Brutus, like that’s going to help matters any. Besides, there is no we. Their lives are in the hands of Brutus, and now the United States Army. “Something incredibly stupid,” Brutus snarks, like this entire jaunt hasn’t been an exercise in stupidity. Really. Moira’s glad she’s never had to call for the fire department before. If this is their best, she’d hate to see their worst. But before she can formulate another thought, Brutus follows through on the most terrible plan in the history of plans, and the bottom drops out.

“I thought—I thought it was just me, I want you all the time, and right now, you’re just so hot, and I’m—I’m hot. I’m hot. Tommy, why am I hot?” Suddenly, out the front window, Moira can see one of the Army helicopters in their flight path. Brutus diverts in time, emitting a little breathy punched-out whine as the craft tips forward. “I don’t—I think there’s something wrong, Tommy, I don’t like this, I don’t—what if I have the virus? Why am I so hot? Is my nose bleeding? Is your nose bleeding? Fuck, I need to come, I need you in my mouth, I need to, to drink the sweat from your neck and your thighs and lick it off your back, and what if this is the virus? Tommy, do I have the virus? Did I give you the virus?” Legs whips around in his seat. Moira can see how dilated his pupils are, how flushed his face is, how his nostrils flare as Brutus maneuvers again. “Did you do something?” Moira smiles at him, as angelic as she can manage. “Who, me? What would I have done?”
