knows how to use a gun, used to keep one in a safe
loves tea, had a collection of really nice ones from all over the world
watches vine compilations at 4am

he and stacy were childhood best friends
and eventual highschool sweethearts
they got married and had kids very young. too young.
they had two kids: Trey (13 years old) and Heather (5 years old)
chase had a youtube channel for vlogs and trickshots, but it dont pay the bills anymore since his mental health plummeted
he and stacy tried to have a third kid but stacy miscarried six months in
he started to hyperfocus on his channel, coming home less and less often, neglecting his family
he hit stacy once and that was enough for her to leave
(stating it right now: this stacy is a good mom and a good person. she’s just worried about chase, a lot, and still cares deeply for him)
they already had issues within their relationship, they just ignored them too long instead of trying to work through it, especially chase
this event was just the tipping point for stace, but it had all started to fall apart way before that
the judge gave her full custody, at least until chase gets his life back under control
desperate to get stacy and his kids back, he made a deal with a demon (don't ask me how I haven't figured out that part yet hjgkfjjf)
but he isn't as savvy at all when it comes to magic and demons, so he gets tricked into surrendering control of his body to anti (cmon this isnt a spoiler we all know its him-)
anti lived as chase for a few weeks while watched helplessly in his mind
at some point, the raw despair and anguish chase feels reaches its peak
and it somehow kicks anti out, to the demon’s absolute confusion
chase was free, but he had lost everything during the time he was possessed, so he was now homeless
he spent a few weeks in the streets nearly drinking himself to death
that's when he gets mugged by thugs and saved by jackie, who was on patrol that night...
