I have had many ideas while working on a commission for him and they keep distracting me ;0;

For instance:

MBJ being saved by a spicy teen SJ full of angst and aggression. Falling in love with the pretty human and planning to court him once he is of age! SJ not caring much about the sticky ice demon and just allowing him to learn from him (having a soft spot for cute kids with bad upbringings)

Peak Lord SQQ (still SJ but maybe with a baby A Yuan toddling about) getting knees of the demon lords wanting an audience, only to realize it was the season for courting and MBJ is now fully grown and well within the right to court as he pleases. Including: snatching the prissy peak lord up, sitting him on his lap and announcing they will be wed if SJ cannot escape his palace.

(He loses willingly after cute courting and awkward yet fluffy conversations between the emotionally constipated dummies. SJ simps are NOT pleased with this union, A Yuan gets cute little siblings so he is a-okay)

Harem Shen Jiu idea!!

Shen Jiu being taken in by a madam of a prominent house. Raised as a daughter and treated like a pretty trophy by the sons and husband of the house. Of course she knows SJ is a boy but for his safety they team up to make everyone think he’s a beautiful girl.

YQY never stopped searching for Xiao Jiu. From peak to peak he’d follow his Shizun everywhere to search and caught sight of pale skin and pretty green eyes. A veil around the lower half of the face and neck. Those sharp calculatrice eyes were his Xiao Jiu!! What did these kids mean by young mistresses Fei??

LQG was curious. The only person strong enough to fight him was hellbent on the hunt for some boy. Was it a boy? Whomever Xiao Jiu was, they were a nuisance to LQG. Or so he thought until he found himself on his butt with a fan to his throat. A very angry little miss scowling at him. Maybe YQY was right about Xiao Jiu being one of a kind…

MBJ stumbled onto the young mistress by accident. He was still young and his uncle had thrown him to the humans as a way of trying to kill him. Instead he finds himself in the arms of a worried youngster. Being checked for temperature and he feels warm??? A human made such a strong impact that this mobei strives to get stronger and spirit them away.

LBH is absolutely feral when he gets to the sect and SJ isn’t there. How dare his shizun avoid consequences of another life entirely?? Oh?? But who’s this pretty cultivator that graces the peaks once every blue moon? His shizun?? Such beauty and grace!? He knew SQQ was beautiful, ethereal really, but to see him actually sociable and showing off his beauty. It was astounding! Mind boggling!! LBH becomes obsessed with this shizun. A shizun that never learned from CQMS. He will unite the lands and make SJ his one and only ethereal empress!!

SQH just wants to simp in peace! This is his second reincarnation but somehow he’s stuck with LBG from his money grabbing plot and is mortified when MBJ demands he keep a close eye on the cultivating worlds rare beauty!! His king wants to marry his princess!? Ah… but they would make pretty babies… maybe SQH should hint at that next time MBJ receives a report.

Gyx is the worlds luckiest disciple. SJ took interest in him and offers to claim him as his own disciple, like mother like son. He develops a close bond with his new shizun. Trailing after the cold beauty and doing everything to the best of his ability. (LBH is seething) tea time with SJ is nice and calm when GYX is around. No crusty men vying for his affections. The local strays and kids also tag along to enjoy tea and snacks!

Or;

SJ getting a harem simply because they learn his personality and not assume things. LBG fighting for his life to get close to SJ. MBJ happily bridesnatches to be at least one of the first three husbands!

All I’m saying is

Xiao Jiu plump with baby fat but still scrawny from malnutrition. Also probably for personal reasons I think of him getting adopted by brothel women (they bought him but raise him like a son).

Ah, just picturing him chubby cheeked dressed in the finest attire gifted from his sisters suitors. Decorated prettily as a sort of adorable lucky charm. Clinging to his Jie Jie whenever they go out for business or shopping.

Yue Qi following after his dear friend and promising to make it big so he won’t have to work a day in his life. Stopping by occasionally with fellow cultivators to court the boy, only to be met with fans and trinkets and embarrassed shrieking from a blossoming beauty.

Bonus, LQG trailing after YQY curiously one day to see a blushing bride to be hiding away behind a fan. Words harsh but actions far softer and affectionate. A cute contrast that endears even this boar of a man can see the genuine love between. But that doesn’t stop him from bringing pelts of his kills and core strengthening parts of demons he’s killed as courting gifts.

I just really like the thought of properly raised Shen Jiu and his gaggle of important simps.

SJ being a fox spirit.

Sleek white fur and a multitude of beautiful tails. Long luscious white hair and sharp green eyes. But for survival he hides his spirit appearance with gorgeous ink black hair and a peachier flush to his pale skin. However demons and cultivators of a high rank can sniff out his true power.

Powerful sect leaders that want to court the seductive demon. ‘Build a foundation of trust’ so people can look at their union as progression.

Heavenly demons hoping to covet an illusive beauty few managed to find. Sinfully attractive and dangerously smart.

Poor SJ has to hide his face and diligently distract any of their spies to keep his tracks covered. Only risking this much effort to feed his children, young orphans for both realms he couldn’t help but sympathize and adore.

I really just need Fox demon Jiu fleeing from a horni harem of cultivators and heavenly demons lol

XSPL SJ: MBJ giving SJ an ornate & overpowered battle fan as one of the courting gifts since SJ likes them so much. Maybe he adds some demonic elements to make it powerful? Or he orders SQH to make one? Or SQH commissions Wan Jian Peak to make a battle fan on behalf of his smitten king? Wei QingWei knows what's up and doesn't care because he gets to try something new! Maybe MBJ adds a little ice power to the fan? Or he adds his clan sigil in a possessive gesture to warn others from coveting SJ?

YES!!!!

MBJ would be very blatant with his courting. Shameless in battle when he clearly favors fighting anyone trying to be close to SJ. Giving SQH the signal to get SJ away from the situation or lest he watch MBJ maul a man for daring to lay hands on HIS future wife.

SJ has become rather bountiful in weapons and core strengthening material. His disciples are blossoming day by day. Even LbH has to admit, MBJs care has helped him grow. SQH is even allowed to share with his disciples to help ease them from the stress of their peak. It’s a nice reprieve when LqG does nothing but fight him and his disciples. YQY does nothing but smile and try to appease everyone but the victims.

Often times YQY will barge into the bamboo hut and find the bed empty. SJ has never slept more peacefully than at MbJs. With all female staff attending to him, a room far away from anyone else’s. He refuses to use his hut unless MBJ is humoring another demon guest. He must protect his dear SJ, even though they all know this stronger SJ was a menace to the cultivation world now.

More bitter YQY wondering who has SJ smiling so sweetly when he reads letters. He never gets to find out because SQH is very sneaky, he’s not. Everyone but SJ has the IQ of a blade of grass-

This is a very VERY tiny crackship, and if anything the only content of MBJ/SJ would include SQH in the mix... or its SY. But WELCOME to my tiny lil hobbit hole of ice husbands hell~

I offer atm,

MBJ being domesticated like a feral cat with food. Each time he sneaks onto QJP he is met with a grumpy looking PL Shen with a plate of food, cup of tea and sleepy music being played while he eats. They have little to no communication the first couple of times. However, the silent peace is mutually appreciated. A young MBJ that was still trying to keep himself safe from his uncles attempts at his life, and a newly acquired PL that just wants peace from the hectic martial siblings and their acidic behavior.

When MBJ finally speaks, SJ is surprised that the boy he thought was another grimy street kid was actually a runaway from some crazy family life. SJ pities the boy but does nothing more than feed and play for him. When MBJ asks about himself SJ just strikes a chord that would make anyone feel unsettled and off. "This master is a humble peak lord, I take in many but they must prove themselves." The immediate denial of joining the peak would surprise SJ. Most street kids dream of becoming a strong and powerful cultivator and enjoying the spoils. He questioned the authenticity of this mucky little run away. MBJ suddenly stops appearing outside his home and SJ is crestfallen. Another person grew tired of him and abandoned him. He is a bit more distant from others after being hurt by someone dear to him again, even if he doesn't admit it. YQY tries to pry but is met with worse silence than before.

(SJ is pissed when he meets MBJ on the field during the demon invasion that is killing disciples. LBH is fighting the demon away but SJ is no match against this stronger and bigger man and gets bride napped. LBH panics and screams for his Shizun and a toasted bunhe fighting the abyss to get his pretty and despondent Shizun back.)
