yijiu has such an underestimated potential! if you compare with other shipps, then yijiu is the most comfortable and cute? just think, most of the characters in the book somehow hurt shen jiu, and even if these relationships are corrected in fan fiction, they still left a traumatic mark on jiu heart and psyche. in addition to yijiu, I love jiuplane, but when I remember that the airplane, as it were, wrote all this tragic fate of shen jiu, I feel bad. I think it would be logical if jiu found out about it later and how would he react? probably it would have broken his heart, the person with whom he had an emotional attachment again betrayed him again, and even to such an extent. although the airplane did not know that it could then move into a book and the written plot could become a reality, the fact that it was he who doomed jiu to such a fate remains a fact. it's the same with other shipps with shen jiu, we can say that almost all the characters either betrayed him, or simply did not participate in his life as gongyi xiao, for example (I don't like the dynamics of bingjiu, so I don't take them into account). although not much is known about gongyi xiao, we can say that he is quite pleasant and cute, and I think that yijiu could have the most non-traumatic relationship. just imagine how xiao gently treats jiu, and takes care of him so that jiu falls into a daze "is someone treating me well? is it even normal that he is so gentle with me? Harem Shen Jiu idea!!

Shen Jiu being taken in by a madam of a prominent house. Raised as a daughter and treated like a pretty trophy by the sons and husband of the house. Of course she knows SJ is a boy but for his safety they team up to make everyone think he’s a beautiful girl.

YQY never stopped searching for Xiao Jiu. From peak to peak he’d follow his Shizun everywhere to search and caught sight of pale skin and pretty green eyes. A veil around the lower half of the face and neck. Those sharp calculatrice eyes were his Xiao Jiu!! What did these kids mean by young mistresses Fei??

LQG was curious. The only person strong enough to fight him was hellbent on the hunt for some boy. Was it a boy? Whomever Xiao Jiu was, they were a nuisance to LQG. Or so he thought until he found himself on his butt with a fan to his throat. A very angry little miss scowling at him. Maybe YQY was right about Xiao Jiu being one of a kind…

The local strays and kids also tag along to enjoy tea and snacks!

The college kids Shen Jiu tutors are terrified and enamored with their scary teacher. Plus, Shen Yuan sits in class with them and plays sometimes. Big headed rich kid Luo Binghe showing off his paternal talents with Shen Yuan, only earning a polite quirk of the lips from Shen Jiu... try harder next time bud. Meanwhile his best friend and cousin, GYx and ZZL respectively, are on first name basis with Shen Jiu.

Shang Qinghua is another small child that is close to Shen Yuan. They met at the hospital when his big brother, MBJ, had an accident. He tries his best to help Shen Jiu which quickly earned him a spot as Shen Jiu’s second child. Much to the ire of SJ’s simps.

Yes, a bunch of grown men stupidly chasing after a milf with trauma. YQY does indeed get beat up for his transgression. QJL gets beat up, or killed, even worse. I think it should be endgame YiJiu, maybe MBJ/SJ for something new and spicy. YQY gets no sympathy from me alsksl.

All I’m saying is

Xiao Jiu plump with baby fat but still scrawny from malnutrition. Also probably for personal reasons I think of him getting adopted by brothel women (they bought him but raise him like a son).

Ah, just picturing him chubby cheeked dressed in the finest attire gifted from his sisters suitors. Decorated prettily as a sort of adorable lucky charm. Clinging to his Jie Jie whenever they go out for business or shopping.

Yue Qi following after his dear friend and promising to make it big so he won’t have to work a day in his life. Stopping by occasionally with fellow cultivators to court the boy, only to be met with fans and trinkets and embarrassed shrieking from a blossoming beauty.

Bonus, LQG trailing after YQY curiously one day to see a blushing bride to be hiding away behind a fan. Words harsh but actions far softer and affectionate. A cute contrast that endears even this boar of a man can see the genuine love between. But that doesn’t stop him from bringing pelts of his kills and core strengthening parts of demons he’s killed as courting gifts.

I just really like the thought of properly raised Shen Jiu and his gaggle of important simps.

Can we talk about how PAINFULLY underrated Yijiu (Gongyi Xiao x Shen Jiu)  is?

The potential of this ship is MASSIVE! Tbh I miss Gongyi Xiao such a shame best boy died so quickly we didn’t get a chance to unravel his and Shen Jiu’s relationship.

I woke up today and thought WHAT IF GYX AND SJ RAN AWAY BEFORE THE TRIAL TOGETHER??? WHAT IF THEY REINCARNATED INTO THE MODERN ERA AND STARTED DATING????

Also I had a cute head canon that Shen Jiu recites poems that he composed  for Gongyi Xiao maybe ya know what I’m saying (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖) but he’s too shy to admit  because GYX likes to listen to his voice as he falls asleep on his lap.
