This woman is magic. I have worked with Melinda and her daughter @kimcolwelldesign for about a decade to energetically create healthier living and working environments. Kim is the Feng shui practitioner, and Melinda is the Shaman. @instituteshambhalla. We’ve been through some heavy stuff together. This week I got to dress her up. In all seriousness I have been crazy busy this week! My mom came to visit for the weekend and we had an event going on at church. Of course when family comes to visit eating is a big deal. I tried really hard to stay on my diet but sometimes that's not reasonable! I had pizza and we ate out a lot. After going off my diet I feel disgusting and can't wait to jump back on board. I'm starting a smoothie challenge this week to help boost immune system's with a friend. Super excited for that. It was really good to have my mom in town. Now to go figure out how to stay on a diet when people visit or when I go out of town.

I dropped Mom off at the San Diego airport this afternoon and sobbed because I had to let her go. My heart is open wide today- full of love and gratitude and a bit of “I want my mommy.” My mom is a beautiful, generous, faithful, loving, fun, and adventurous woman who would give anything for her family. My mom gave me life, and she loves me like no one else on this planet can or will. That is the sacred love between a mother and child.
