guys guess who had a meltdown today!

anyways. my au. i've been thinking about it and i realized i could make it way worse. so, here it goes. what if i made 035 powerless a different way? this is going to be long, so bear with me.

the concept that attracts me more than the human au, gives him a slay design, and makes it so he's very recognizable! ignore the style change

so, basically, the concept is that about two weeks after the 035 sedition tapes, 035 convinces a junior researcher to put him on during the thing where they switch out the glass case (sorry grammar is not my strong suit) and a guard immediately smacks 035 over the head with the old glass case (roughly 20~ lbs. of glass). on the left side (035's left) of his head. he experiences a hairline fracture to his skull, an epidural hematoma, and a serious concussion after falling unconscious for a few minutes (3-ish minutes). oh, and a piece of the mask flies off. the trauma of the physical injury causes him to fuse to the host's face, and now he has a body! and no powers, because he's in survival mode. as a treat.

to save him, they perform emergency surgery, replace part of his skull with a titanium plate (hence the right side of his head (your right) having shorter, choppy hair) and put him on fluids and a feeding tube. he also still oozes the corrosive fluid, although now it doesn't burn his host. it does burn the people who touch it.

now, here's where the maskwatch comes into play: 035 craves touch but doesn't realize it. but he's still not safe for just anyone to touch. but watch? watch can touch him without dying. watch did not ask for the weird death mask to attach to him by the hip and also enjoy headpats while acting like a clingy boyfriend. please send help.

my thoughts on shaming people for their interests ft wheatley

i was looking through the wheatley tag just now, looking for memes, fun art, stuff about a character i like. (although i have not completed portal 2, ik he betrays you, spoilers are impossible to avoid)

the thing i noticed that i didn't like was there was a lot of shaming ppl for liking him because he's a villain, but when you look through the glados tag, you find almost none of that, despite her having done similar things.

one of the exuses i find for this is that he's a midogynist. where did you get that from, your ass? because its complete shit.

sure, the women he didn't like the women he with, but have you considered: he doesn't like being called stupid? and before you tell me that im defending sexism and therefore sexist, im afab, so stfu.

block me if you think shaming someone because they have different opinions on a FICTIONAL CHARACTER is wrong, i don't want to talk or see anything you post. i'm not being problematic, i'm tired of being shamed for thinking a character is cool.

like look at other fandoms. you don't see this very often, it's toxic, and i don't want to feel bad for liking wheatley, goddammit. and don't pull the "he's a tumblr sexyman" card on me. i just want to enjoy a character, for fuck's sake.

and don't take this to mean that i think proshipping is okay. i hate it, just like i hate the toxicity towards people who think that villains are cooler than heroes.

i just saw a post about a police dog who attacked a cop for attacking someone. what really pains me is that the dog was most likely put down for protecting someone from a police officer that was most likely abusing their power.

it makes me think of myself from two years ago, and even now if i dont take my meds. if it is illegal for a human to be killed for killing or injuring someone, then the same should be true for dogs.

the poor baby was doing the right thing. the cop was being an aggressor.

i've actually got a little story to tell. my oldest dog, obie, is an american corgi that resource guards and doesn't like being touched unexpectedly. in july, he bit my mom, badly. she was lucky she didn't need stitches. obie was not put down. instead, we gave him an anxiety medication. it worked. he's doing much better now, and is coping reletively well with our new dog, duke.

he is so sweet, and despite the fact that he struggles to control his impulse (a fault of the breeders), with training, he is going to learn how to be the best boy he possibly can be.
