I like Mondsdtadt (the city)’s design and how it’s like a cozy little place with friendly citizens because it reminds me of some small towns I’ve been to

And Liyue, even though I rarely go there (as a rather low-level player), the one time I did step into the main city there’s this sense of nostalgia, as a Chinese player, seeing all the Chinese cultural influences in architecture and music

But as someone who lives in Canada where it snows for half the year or so, Dragonspine’s environment design is very beautiful and endearing to me so it’s my favourite

Author’s Note

”It’s difficult to create a world by yourself so let’s just imagine Qingchan to be a bard of Mondstadt lmao”

Originally, they are an OC independent from (though largely inspired by) Genshin Impact, but I’ve always had trouble writing about him because of the lack of worldbuilding. I’ve decided to insert them into Mondsdtadt to familiarize myself with their personality.

To fit Mondstadt’s German-inspired culture, his original Chinese name 青蝉 (Qingchan) and his lute, 鹦琴 (Yingqin) are translated to Azurblau Zikade and Der Papagei. I don’t know much German, so forgive me for any mistakes in translation.
