A while back I posted a collection of random Solomon headcanons, and in it I talked about how I hc that he knows that he’s a terrible cook and that he’s just fucking with everybody.

To expand on that, I think MC is 100% in on the joke. They were the first and only person to ever break and tell him that his cooking was bad, and he just laughed and said that he knew. He figured it out a while ago, but since nobody has had the guts to say so, he’s just torturing them with it at this point. Now they both hold back their laughter when everyone is sat in front of Solomon's horrendous cooking, trying to procrastinate taking a bite. They both think its hilarious.

MC is giving Solomon cooking lessons in secret, but no one else has to know.

Immortality 

 Some say it’s a curse, while others say that it’s a blessing 

 As for Solomon, he considers it as both.

 Although his long life has given him all the time he needed to fill up his hunger for knowledge and power, it was inevitable for him to feel lonely most of the time. 

 Sure, he had a few acquaintances, but they left his side long ago. In truth, he’d already forgotten some of them. 

Including the promises he swore he’d never forget 

 And he hated himself for that. 

He hated himself for not being able to remember the best memories he made with his most precious loved ones. 

 He regretted the fact that he didn’t write every little detail and every single word that was said during those precious events.

 But deep down he knows, he knows that no matter how many books he writes, no matter how many photos he takes, he’ll never be able to fully preserve all the emotions, feelings and the warmth he felt during those scenes.

 The torment of a never ending life is infinite.

 Each day that passes, a new problem arises.

Solomon was already all too familiar with that fact
