But yes I agree, Jekyll has very soft fatherly vibes. He will let you cry on him even if your a complete stranger and go “There, there my dear...Let’s wipe those tears away” and give you his handkerchief before making you tea.

did you watch monsterbash (newest svtfoe)? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

I seriously adored it. It was so good. 

I love how Star has gone from the crazy fun loving irresponsible character who didn’t want to be the princess she was supposed to be, and has turned into that but BETTER AND MORE MATURE. Now she WANTS to be a good princess and a good leader. She’s realizing how much power she has been given and how little she still has to be able to change centuries worth of bigotry and racism. 

And she’s trying so hard to change and grow and become responsible, all while staying true to herself and having fun when she knows it’s appropriate. And I love how we saw Tom still being used to what she USED to be like, and confused when she doesn’t act the same way. But then he too, although he’s a little behind, apologizes for being a bit out of touch, and supports her in the things she is trying to do and accomplish. And how wonderful is it that Marco is very much supporting her in it as well, and working hard alongside her to help her unite Monsters and Mewmans. 

Honestly, I could see them foreshadowing all this war on bigotry when the show started dropping hints but I’m so impressed with how it’s going along, it’s really good at showing the good that can come from honestly just reaching out and making friends with those who are being oppressed. So so so so so good. I wish I was seeing more support and talk about this than the romance drama going on. ^^” It’s gonna be okay yall, just let it happen and enjoy the ride. The show is SO MUCH MORE than its ships, please don’t forget that! 

Also, I ADORE the whole thing with Meteora, oh my GOSH. I kind of let go of the half monster half mewman idea after Toffee died because that was one of my headcannons was that he was their son. But the theory nEVER DID DIE, IT WAS JUST WITH A CHARACTER THAT I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT!!!! I always knew she was a Butterfly after seeing her cheeks, but I just assumed she was just part of the family like a duchess or whatever, I seriously was NOT expecting that and HONESTLY WOW WHAT A TWIST. I’m so excited and seeing her just holding that doll in shock was so heart breaking I want to hold her. So so so good. I have a feeling she may be the main bad guy in this arc, and I really hope it turns out okay for her in the end. I really want her to be redeemed, the Mewmans took so much from her and we don’t even have the full story yet. Ahhhh. ALSO. SPIDER BITE PRINCESS AND SLIME GUY??? CUTE. JUST FREAKING CUTE. YEAH. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND I WANNA DRAW HIM. REALLY BAD. I REALLY LOVED HIS CHARACTER AND I WANT MORE, HE WAS JUST SO SWEET???? LOVED IT.
