hey, sorry ive been busy being obsessed w monster hunter khezu is my favorite, theyre like the pugs of the monster world 🐲🤍
Rubbernecking is dangerous and situational awareness is real important, ok?
Thieving Melynx! Hope you didn't need that shock trap!
Man, watching how the villagers in Kamura treat your hunter is nerve wracking. I mean, they call you their savior and have held so many high hopes and expectations of you since even before you became an official guild certified hunter. In game, no amount of failed quests changes that opinion.
But in the hunter’s mind, what happens when they fail? Not all failed hunts end in death, but if the villagers see their “savior” constantly fail, then what happens to that faith?
God forbid your hunter has any form of anxiety or imposter syndrome. That would take such a massive toll on their mental state.
……..
Definitely not the thought I had when creating Lynn in Wilds for the first time. It takes her a bit, but she does get better with support from her fellow guildmates.
Felt a bit nostalgia, so here’s a pic of Issachar (my Palamute) and Jonathan (my Palico) from Rise.
And a bonus Isabeau (Cahoot), as a treat.
For Hunter lore purposes, the Palico was changed to be my Wilds one (Navarre). Jonathan became… someone else in the lore. 🫢
Never forget where you came from…
My cute hunter eating dango, getting ready for a big hunt.
