the worst feeling is wanting to read but you wanna read so many different books and you can not decide so you end up reading nothing at all.
On a brighter note: I'm reading again. What a joy! My Kindle had missed me! 📚
Days off full of reading 📚☀️
May wrap up
Once again it is time for bed (aka reading time), and I finished the book I was reading last night and forgot to select a new one today. Time to stand forlornly in front of my shelves.
We love rainy days don’t we baby 🐦⬛
How much of a mood reader are you?
Because I was assigned the Song of Achilles for a class in college.
I’d heard of the book. I had all the necessary mythology background from a childhood obsessed with the subject. I’ve read the Illiad. Hell, it was ALREADY on my tbr
Yet, I looked at this book that might as well been written for me and said no. I want to read that later when i can ‘enjoy it better’.
I BSed my way through two quizzes, four discussion boards, and a paper with a skimmed sparknotes summary and general knowledge of the mythos
It is only now three years later that I decided to pick it up from the library on a whim
It’s great. Why did I do all that work to avoid reading it? It’s not even taking that long. I’m like 200 pages in and I started yesterday
