Okay so after posting the last one that took like a week to draw apparently I was able to finish this in like a day LMAO- SO, part two of this post!
I realise that this art is like.. majority just people hurting the poor guy but I didn't even notice when I finished it last night lmao?? also there's some extra stuff at the end as a treat. Again ask me to tag anything if needed.
After Henry was made an Orderly, everyone else could finally start their own little power trips, and they very much still treat him like hes 001, often they will still call him by his number when out of earshot of the other children and it GRINDS HIS GEARS, but he can't do anything, because if he does he risks punishment from Brenner.
To put it very simply, he is still 001, he still uses a name that's not his, he just gets to wear proper clothes.
He will every so often slip up and fall back into calling Brenner 'Papa' during certain treatments to try and get a softer reaction from him, when hes scared, or accidentally when he's in the morning meeting, and the others tease him to no end about it, it stings, a lot, because after he was made Peter he lost the one person who he relied on for some form of twisted love and care, this 'father figure', and he's still so desperate to be 'the favourite' again, so things would MAYBE be marginally better for him.
His biting and scratching got a lot worse after Soteria as he no longer had his powers to lash out with, and as his hair was now grown out enough the Orderlies started grabbing into it to hold his head in place, he hates it.
He is so terribly sleep deprived because of his constant nightmares, and he is steadily losing more and more control over himself and his actions, it effects him when hes doing tasks outside of looking after the children, and he always ends up scolded for minor things, he is on edge and stressed from the moment he wakes up to the moment he sleeps not being able to tell when something might happen.
He is a complete outcast, physically hes an Orderly, but they (and Brenner) still treat him as if he's a Number, yet he isn't one, there's three circles, and hes all alone in his circle.
He isn't permitted to go into staff only areas unless someones dying or something drastic, hes only allowed in a very small portion of the lab, and he is with the children like 90% of the time, he eats alongside them in the food hall and he has the same bedtime as them, he is so jealous of the food the Orderlies get when they talk about it in the halls, and they know he is the way he just glares at them the whole time they talk. (also for some reason, when I think of the food at the lab I think of sliced, boiled carrots, idk why, I just do?)
The nurses and doctors are STILL scared of him, unfortunately he's somehow always getting fevers so he has to go to the medical wing often, its not like he even attacks them, to them, they've heard the horror stories, and he just has this crazy look in his eyes...just give him his medicine and let him off duty for a day pls-
He sucks his thumb still as an adult to self soothe, he tries not to do it when hes around people but he has been caught a few times, and the other Orderlies take the PISS out of him for it.
Okay I thinkk that's all, here's the extra stuff! First I really liked this sketch I did so I decided to colour it and threw on some lyrics, Puppet Boy is just SO Brenner and Henry to me, and from the clips I've seen of tfs the singer kinda sounds like Brenner. The red swirl is EH but i have this URGE to draw the Mindflayer as a red swirly thing, idk.
