Mood Designer Fabrics

Good Afternoon!

Today, I went to Mood Designer Fabrics, 225 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018. This Flag Ship store held over 1200 customers per day. The Mood Fabrics found by Jack Sauma. He start selling fabric to wholesale customers from his collection and then he expand his business to retail store. There are all different kinds of fabrics are on this store. The store divided by three floors and very organized by category. They are not only selling the fabric, also carry buttons, ribbons, etc., all different products that related to make clothes. Also, they are teaching how to sew and etc...

It was very interested tour for me because my father is also on fabric business. Many people are surprised and got little overwhelmed about too much fabrics in the store. However, it was kind of little normal for me because I grow up watching my dad’s factory and has a lot of fabrics in his office.

As many will know I am a HUGE fan of @projectrunway and especially the WONDERFUL @timgunn - I LOVE it when the designers visit @moodfabrics and Tim shouts "Thank You Mood!" Upon departure - a mantra that is recited daily in our home. Imagine then my delight when my lovely hubby Andrew @gobannos ordered this FABULOUS Mood Beach Bag all the way from New York! Squeal! Andrew even asked if Mood could manage to get me @timgunn autograph - unfortunately to no avail - but hay I one step closer to visiting Mood in #newyork so who knows maybe that autograph is just around the corner!
