🔮Taurus New Moon Tarot Spread🔮
During the Taurus New Moon we are encouraged to plan the pursuit of long term goals. It will be especially important to stay grounded and focused in order to maintain momentum in the long haul ahead. Balancing all aspects of our lives (social, career, self care and so on) will be the key to success. Slow down for a moment, show yourself some grace in the face of mistakes or struggles, take care of yourself and show yourself compassion the way you would a loved one. The Taurus new moon is one of gentle renewing energy, it is not firey and full speed ahead like many other new moons. Meditate on the bigger picture, hit the reset button by spending time in nature or working closely with the natural elements.

Full Moon Water Use Ideas
So what are the plans for this intense New Moon happening during the Summer Solstice?? It’s gonna be in Cancer (*crab dance*) and there’s an eclipse! (Cancer season coming in like the dramatic bitches we are, huh??? xD)
My plans (or well Artemis and Apollo’s plans for me) is to spend the time between the New Moon and the Full Moon to focus in on my career and creative goals (That’s Apollo) and work on my spiritual self through practicing inner silence (That’s Artemis).
This is gonna be intense tho because I will be refraining from consuming any media except on specific days. So no TV and very limited use of the internet.
I’m doing this because I’ve noticed that my brain is VERY addicted to the mind numbing distractions of TV and my phone, likely from consistently using them as a coping mechanism for my mental illnesses. It’s preventing me from achieving my goals and blocking me from my spiritual self and the gods. Basically my reliance on the digital screens is getting in the way of me becoming the person I would like to be and living the the life I want to live.
So with the help of the Divine Twins I hope to finally break free of my addiction and finally step into a whole new way of living and being.
a quick guide to the moon phases:
a good note is that when the moon is growing (waxing) it is time for sowing seeds, drawing things to you, manifesting, taking action and going after goals, while the disseminating moon is a time for releasing, banishment and letting go.
new moon 🌑 - manifesting; sowing seeds, dreams and hopes; wish-making; good time for journaling
waxing crescent 🌘 - attracting and drawing things to you; nurturing the seeds you planted at the new moon; utilise affirmations and written intentions
waxing half moon 🌗 - looking at obstacles/challenges; adjusting plans you made at the start of the lunar cycle to adapt for challenges
waxing gibbous moon 🌖 - taking action; things start to feel like they are aligning - ramp up your energy if you can and go after your goals
full moon 🌕 - boosting any intention; expressing gratitude; acknowledging achievement; healing; charging and giving thanks; a great time for divination as psychic abilities are strongest at this time
waning gibbous moon 🌔 - releasing; reflect on what’s blocking you from your desires and work to release that; let go of what no longer serves you
waning quarter moon 🌓 - reflect on what you have achieved and what you still need to achieve; going within to seek (and listen to) heart driven guidance
waning crescent moon 🌒 - letting go to release things so you can prepare for the approaching moon cycle; reflect - what have you learned? what happened during this cycle? what hasn’t? reread new moon intentions and evaluate how you’ve changed; consider how you can follow this through the new moon cycle
the dark moon 🌑 - resting; going within, using introspective energies to examine feelings/thoughts and delve deep; great time for divination and scrying in attempts to uncover truths
