He followed the “thud” sound of his arrow hitting the tree in the distance - his only plan was to retrieve all of his arrows before going back home for today. Though, as he hurried over he didn’t expect to meet someone else in the woods. “What are you doing here?!” There was no hesitation in asking for this and yet he found it somewhat suspicious and held firmly onto his golden bow. “Didn’t you see the arrows flying? This is no playground.”

Aslan opened his mouth and produced a lovely tune. To one far it sounded like mumbling, but those near him could hear that he was actually singing. The last time the great Lion sung was when he created Narnia from nothing, however, he decided to sing due to sheer boredom. 

“Ash was redeemed,  only beauty remains. My orphan heart was given a name. My mourning grew quiet... my feet rose to dance. When death was arrested and my life began.”

He didn’t even remember hurting himself. He kept forgetting that his new human body was so fragile. How did humans go about their daily lives like this? Ai was definitely acquiring a new respect for organic creatures. Everyday must be a struggle for them.

Spotting someone with an old-fashioned nurse’s cap on, he quickly rushed to catch up with them, waving his good arm.

“Hey! Hi!” Okay, so they were clearly in costume as some type of monster, but still...

“I really hope the nurse getup isn’t part of your costume because I could definitely use some help.” He showed her the gash on his forearm, still bleeding freely despite his attempts to stop it. He pointedly avoided looking at it, even the sight of blood out of the corner of his eye made him uneasy.

“This has never happened to me before and I have no idea what to do about it.”

There’s a crashing sound and someone emits a yell. Further investigation would reveal a relatively old looking tree with a relatively young looking human sitting underneath. Ash had been climbing the tree, for the simple reason that he had been bored until he decided that up a tree was an ideal hangout spot. He’s sitting near a freshly broken branch and pushes it away.

“Uh... the tree was already broken.”

He appears slightly flush, embarrassed by what happened. The first thing he thinks of doing is to give an obvious lie. That seemed like the smartest thing to do.

“I wasn’t climbing or anything, so I definitely didn’t break that branch. Or damage that old tree.”

The young imuchakk woman was busy with maintenance on her ship, the bustle of the docks nothing but background noise. Yet, the sound of someone approaching was one she heard easily.

“If you’re looking for transport, I’ve got the room,” she called over her shoulder from atop the mast rigging “depends on where you’re going, though. I’ll be down in a second!”

She had to be honest, looking for people she could potentially talk to in this place was harder than it looked. While she didn’t want to bother the people that legitimately looked busy, there weren’t a lot of visual cues for her to go off for if someone was a human or not... and all the noise wasn’t helping her pick up anything standout-ish either. It was almost deafening for her to stick around the crowds of people for so long; nearly already tumbling into the crowd below when there just happened to be a barrage of sound reaching her ears. Her hearing wasn’t the same as humans’, but it was definitely a lot more sensitive.

Stella wasn’t used to loud noises, which was what persuaded her to go to a more quieter area. Not as crowded as where she once was, but it was definitely better. Plus, there were still some people around! Just... not as many. So she began the search again, this time on the ground. Crowds didn’t notice her as much here, but fewer people might.

It made her search a little easier, but... people just looked normal here too! The only person that happened to look somewhat different was her roommate, and even they still looked human! There wasn’t much for her to go off here either, these people didn’t have a reason to speak over loud noises, so most of their discussions were kept quiet. And the star knew it was rude to eavesdrop on conversations that she wasn’t a part of. So she just had to hope she’d find someone that stood out and didn’t seem too busy.

And right on cue, she spotted an unfamiliar hair color! Admittedly, she was a little shorter than the woman she had her eyes on, so she began floating again to get a closer look.

At first, it had only been at a distance, but small curiosity slowly increased. Which resulted in her getting closer with each passing second. Stella had even partially bumped into them on accident! It didn’t take long before Stella found herself gazing towards the other’s face, which if it hadn’t turned to her by now, suddenly found itself face to face with a floating person. She wasn’t exactly loud when it came to her floating around...

But she was definitely a little too close. Not that it seemed to bother her, she was just... staring. To her, she was just trying to find something else that would help confirm if this woman was human or not. But Stella didn’t even begin to think of how rude or odd this would look like from the other’s gaze.

When Chara can’t sleep - which is extremely often - they like to stare at the stars. At the moon. They liked astronomy, and more than that, it reminded them so much of Asriel, their “best friend forever.” He had liked the stars too, even if he had never seen them himself.

On this night, they’re once again looking at the moon from atop a nearby roof in the alleyway they call home. It’s bright, full, and large tonight - more beautiful than ever. Maybe that’s why they don’t notice that there’s someone else on the roof, someone who might have been there all along, or someone who came up to join them.

When they do notice, they jolt, and then just stare. She’s beautiful. Somehow, Chara gets the impression she’s not entirely human, despite appearances.

“Who are you?” Chara asks, instead of telling her to go away, like they normally would.

A strange, yet curious message had appeared on the redhead’s phone. Celica, still largely unaware with modern technology stared at the prompt, confused. It read: [ Welcome to Operation SHORE: Surviving Hazards Of Relaxing Escapes! Please choose your island destination:... ]

Four islands were mentioned. At least, Celica assumed they were islands, what with the word “Isle” appearing after the names. Looking from the prompt to the islands and back, Celica was unsure of what to do. Did... did the prompt want her to select one? Was that what she’s supposed to do?

...As the answer dawned, excitement overtook Celica’s confusion. Oh wow, a vacation! WITHIN a vacation! A gasp of surprise. Celica loved adventure and exploring, so she figured, hey why not? The desire to learn was overtaking her. She was about to select an island when she paused, a cold realization. She looked back at the prompt. The word “surviving” stuck out like a sore thumb. Excitement faded into unease. Why did they need to specify survival? Why would you advertise relaxation but surviving hazards is within the same sentence? And frankly, “surviving hazards of relaxing escapes” didn’t seem very relaxing at all! Should Celica continue with her plan of going anyway? When she looked at the islands on display, she realized they all had danger, shelter and resource ratings. The very first island was probably the one that made Celica the most nervous. A danger rating of high. She was seriously content to ignore the prompt when...

....The phone screen suddenly glitched. Celica yelped in surprise and then a moment later, she was gone. A moment later, Celica was no longer in the city. Panic flooded up inside of her. She hadn’t even intended to choose a island, fearing for her safety.

❝W-Where am I?❞

Celica dared to check her phone. If her phone was telling her right, she had arrived on the first island. The island she had obviously not wanted to go to in the place. Celica’s eyes grew wide. BY THE MOTHER.

She was trapped here. Unless she could manage to somehow teleport herself out. Celica turned her line of vision from her phone to look at her surroundings. Was - was that a prison. It was so... dark. Celica suddenly felt faint.
