God I love designing magical girls

(Warning, LONG rant coming up yapping about characters I’ve literally never talked about before and which also only exist because I need to make a thing for school which I’m being way too ambitious about)

Original sketches + redesigns!

Made Amai first, my sweet angel baby, before actually considering what colors to use, their whole thing is basically they work at a card themed cafe but all servers there are also magical girls.

So Amai is the suit of hearts, made sure to give her lots of round shapes and heart shaped braids in her transformed form!

Designed Kigu after, didn’t know quite what to do with her besides cool girl vibes so I went with that

After testing out some color palettes for Amai I couldn’t quite figure it out and then decided I disliked Kigu’s design, so I redesigned her and managed to get her magical girl colors right on the first try, also I put her in a suit for her work uniform which fixed everything

And then I tweaked Amai’s designs to match Kigu’s more and voila, colors worked out, and I got their magical girl forms all colored!

Might render them more properly later but I need to catch some Z’s
